Ah. Ever since I probably put a thousand hours in to Resident Evil Outbreak games I've been completely immune to load times bothering me in any capacity. Minute long load times every single time you open a door. Entire game freezing for 5+ seconds opening the map. Still have my discs too right over here on my PC desk. I absolutely fucking hated the RE outbreak HDD-less PS2 load times back then and always wished the game got a OG xbox port specifically so it would be on a console with a built-in HDD and much better online capabilities during it's era. It never happened, lol. I started playing CD-based games with the sega CD and load times with some of these games was pretty damn bad in today's standards. (I played enough sega cd to the point where I genuinely felt the average PS1 game's load times were blazing fast in comparison). I guess what I am trying to say is I been through it and know some booty loads (lol). My theory had always been this was what Murayama wanted for S3 but everyone was going 3d. He left after S3. They even have a somewhat trinity system.) There was definitely some changes in the gameplay obviously. I haven't gotten to far in (10hrs) but I can tell the Rune system is somewhat like the skills system from 3-5. Which I enjoyed because they gave me much more customization over characters. The voice acting seems to be good so far, and I'm glad each character so far has had VO and even battle/victory voices! I don't feel like the scores are a fair show of the game, because it seems to be based around the horrible switch port but all switch port are garbage because the switch can't handle new games.
