I got a really dumb moderation the other day like this one takes the cake as beyond stupid.

A dude comes in an trolls my thread and then marks me and a mod actually took it seriously.

So I thought, meh SURELY of all the moderations ever this one a lead mod would actually see is absolute bullshit.

like ngl this one is so pathetically stupid I actually feel like the user and mod might have been in cahoots but probably not the lead mod too

The other day a guy said he suffered brain trauma as a kid.

I asked what caused it and got modded. Disputed it with no response as of now.

I've gotten 1 moderation overturned I believe, years ago. So yeah, probably not, but I still do it anyway (unless I'm completely wrong).

I think when it gives me the option to dispute them usually just say something dumb again

Oh Ive gotten several overturned. But usually they will be bullheaded and not listen.

You just have to take it. Moderators are like referees, some suck and some suck less.

I care when I didn't violate the rules at all and the user who marks me is literally trolling but you mod me for trolling and uphold and give a note for the moderation that made 0 sense and was proven in the thread to not make sense (as described in the dispute)

I just want the dispute system to work, it feels like whoever reviews doesn't care or doesn't actually do anything

It's a process of self discovery and learning.

you have to actually have a GOOD REASON why you think it deserves to be overturned. Also protip: search the "ask the mods" board. you can usually find precedence from mods answering questions to use to overturn your own.

But TC, you have not really explained why you think your mod deserves to be overturned. more details would be nice.

I gave the details and I am not asking for it to be overturned I am just musing how disputing doesn't work or it would have worked in this case

guy asked for info that is at the very begginning of the video

I said no

he continues ranting about it in my thread because I said no

marked for trolling and mod note claims I didn't watch video which is insane on the part of the mod when I literally provided a timestamp in the last post I made in the thread showing where the info was and proving how ridiculous said user was being in their refusal to watch video
