I wonder how that system would work out.

You'd obviously still need to hire caretakers to watch the kids but they should be on a wage thats nowhere near the teachers.

And not going to school or attending classes will result in fines.

Yeah a more serious and realistic way is to scrap the scamming universities and put everyone on apprenticeship programs.

ai as it exists right now, i believe, is most effective in the hands of people who can guide and properly frame their own self-education endeavors

but the administrative bureaucracy can and should be sacked and replaced with AI

I'm sorry you had a fucked up childhood but that's no excuse to pretend that teachers don't deal with a ton of shit themselves, including a fucked up system and useless-ass administrators that are unwilling to actually assist them and choose to run schools as a for-profit business.

It's also no excuse to shut our eyes and refuse to do better so other people have a chance not to have similarly fucked up experiences.

As for the specific topic at hand, no this is stupid. Would sooner see the principal, secretaries, and deans replaced with AI lol.

The ratio of ass hole teachers to good teachers would probably benefit the good teachers more if teaching was a more rewarding job. Asshole teachers probably find the job a lot more rewarding because they get to do what they want to do (child abuse) while working.

I dont deny that like any other profession, some teachers are dicks, but I have no idea what you get this idea that teachers just get away with all sorts. Its probably one of the easiest professional jobs to get fired from and once you have been youll have hells delight getting a second chance.

why would the kids have to physically go to the school? instead of hiring caretakers, just have the kids learn remotely.
and, while we're at it, why even have parents raise the kids? let AI do it instead.

all of that AI is gonna use a lot of energy tho, so why not put the kids into little pods while they're learning and being raised, and they can power the AI? if they're claustrophobic, they can use VR goggles and go into a little AI virtual world where they can learn and get raised that way.

In fairness, it is possible to make very good money as a teacher, but the overwhelming majority dont.
