probably drugs. the part of the brain that assesses risk is not fully developed in adolescents, which makes them more prone to making high risk decisions. that combined with the addictive nature of so many drugs and the toxic shit found in substances nowadays (fent) is a scary combo. i knew a number of kids who developed bad drug habits in high school and never escaped that life. i've always been thankful i never enjoyed opiates, never fucked with benzos and had the smarts to never try meth

Things like guns and driving are immediate dangers to lives, not only to themselves but to others.

Drugs and social media have long term effects which are extremely harmful. I've personally known several people that by their mid-30s their brains were complete mush thanks to long term drug abuse. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing similar "zombies" resulting from social media abuse.

But good luck keeping teens from doing whatever the hell they want to do.

That's what I was thinking. Drugs probably affect a lot more kids than guns do, even if those kids don't die immediately from them.

Republicans. They're singlehandedly responsible for making all of those problems far worse than they ever needed to be.

Guns, due to them literally being a weapon designed for killing. Even if they are not as common a threat as the others, they are by far the largest threat for cases where they ARE available to a teenager.

Followed by Social Media and Drugs. They both tend to mess up the brain pretty bad.

I wouldn't agree, but using my own logic I can see how someone would in turn say that SM probably affects more kids than drugs do even if they don't have physical effects.

Drugs or guns. I'd probably lean more towards drugs because of how readily available hard drugs are in a lot of high schools.
