I find myself walking past a TV that has Fox News on all the time daily, and I swear 50% of their programming is devoted to Hunter Biden, and it's been like this for months.

I know it's someone at the top who is certain this will be a meaningful distraction from Trump lawsuits, but theres not a single undecided voter on earth who gives a shit about this at ALL, so it feels like a big misstep on their part.

It's not for the undecided voters, it's what their already loyal audience wants to hear. Fox News isn't really about swaying neutral voters.

I don't normally look at this topic but the title made me curious...I have seen this on social media from a conservative site making fun of it. I agree it's dumb. My social media friends include older + religious folks, many of whom are for Trump, and I'd have a hard time picturing any of them liking this. I'd imagine the target audience would be pro Trump people who don't really read the Bible much (and I would guess owning this Bible likely won't make them start).

See personally I could not give less of a shit about the Trump lawsuits.

Everyone who knows Trump is a conman criminal doesnt need lawsuits and trials to prove it, and not one single person who has or would vote for Trump will be dissuaded by him being convicted on anything. The very nature of these people is such that accusations and trials make them support him harder.

I bet he'll sell plenty of them. But not nearly enough to cover his debts.

Polling is wack lately but if you give it any credence, Trump actually getting convicted of a crime does move the needle with a fair chunk of people. Not like... as many as you'd hope but enough to basically close any path to victory he has.

Though at the rate we're going the only case that has a chance of accomplishing that before the election now thanks to SCOTUS and Cannon is the Stormy Daniels hush money coverup which is probably the "least significant" of his many crimes. Would still make him a convicted felon if found guilty though.

Im not saying everyone knows, Im saying there are two groups: People who know, and people who dontor dont care.

At this point, those groups are pretty unshakeable.

To be fair, the Bible is a hair more popular and has more than a few apps dedicated solely to it. I don't think that any other book has that level of readership except for other religious texts in other countries

I don't have a strong opinion on whether building an arena in Alexandria was a good idea, but I'm glad this deal failed. Using public money on this sort of thing is just stupid.

Yes, I think giving billionaires money is stupid.

It was a bad location with less access to public transit, especially for non-locals, along with a limited roadway access that would have brought crippling traffic to an already congested area.

It was fun seeing the local stations pretend that Alexandria largely wanted this. They absolutely did not, and Youngkin certainly wouldn't have known either way because he never talked to anyone despite his claims of "broad bipartisan support." Just like he does with literally everything he personally wants.

I feel like this could actually lead to serious international repercussions for Israel for the first time. Not sure itll be enough to stop it as its clearly an ideological crusade for the Israeli government. But would be a good step.

Big landslides in Istanbul and Ankara which had been marginal until recently. This is the first set of elections in which Erdogans party havent finished first place since they came to power. Good to see that democracy is still alive in Turkey despite everything thats been done to repress it.
