You actually get more from Pioneer because of the double rate from inflicting a debuff (absolutely no reason your team comp should allow Acheron to use a basic attack), so you only need 62% to not have to rely on outside sources like Fu Xuan.

I guess I should clarify that of course I have no way of really knowing this. I do suspect they do this but it's probably irresponsible to try and assert that with any strength without some kind of statistical survey, which is really the only way to know for sure. (Or I guess getting access to the code but I don't think that is going to happen)

If this was true we'd almost certainly know about it by now because gacha games attract the most dedicated spreadsheet warriors that love to collect tons of data. All it takes to verify is collecting statistics from thousands of relic runs.

Genshins stat and substat distribution is out there and I'm sure HSR's is too.

I looked for it before making any post on the subject and all I could find was stats for all relic sets aggregated into one data set

Managed to get an Atk orb and atk rope with of Izumo with no crit rate but 20+ crit dmg each. I'll take it. Crit rate body piece it is.

Oh really? Thats good to know. Feel less bad about applying def shred before ult when shes already at cap then.

I noticed this immediately cuz I started playing last week, pulled her before I could farm echoes, and lemme tell ya Acheron without a2 is the greatest struggle I've ever seen in an rpg, and that includes beating superbosses with joke characters

Crazy how much she gains from investment on every level. The more pieces of her power budget I get (traces, cones, etc) the more powerful she becomes. Actual zero to hero stuff.

It's funny how new players can sometimes understand some of these intricacies more quickly than the long time ones, because they're taking it all in one bit at a time and are slowly building towards each unlock. Meanwhile when I got Acheron I just rapidly dumped all the resources in and let her rip.

Got a good ERR Penacony rope from the 3x planar event so I finally was able to put the finishing touches on Huohuo. Now she goes brrrrr

Some of the character kits in this game are not well explained at all. Not just the word salad but sometimes they refer to effects without an easy way of seeing what the effect is. Sushang for instance basically doesnt say anywhere what sword stance actually does in her abilities.

....did a 10-pull on the LC banner to see if I could nab another GNSW and got...a second Acheron LC on the very first drop at literally 0 pity (I had single pulled my way to the cone initially).

Does it apply the debuff on other chars? If so stick it on someone else for extremely funny ult spam

Managed to get through MoC10 for the first time. Not sure my gear is optimized enough to get through 11 and 12 yet, but that some nice extra jades to add to the stash.

Oof that floor 12 was kinda rough. Managed to get all stars with Acheron/Pela/Sparkle/Bailu against the 2.1 boss. Bailu had her ult up for every betting game so she and Sparkle could tank it lol.

Getting Gepards speed up to 134 has been like pulling teeth. I cannot get speed to roll as a substat on anything.

Oh yeah I've been there. It sucks. I'm glad part of Aventurine's power creep is that he has higher base speed.

My Gepard's relics are basically complete trash except for the speed because of how slow he is, so I've been farming new stuf for Aventurine anyways. I'll see what I can slap together tomorrow.

Went back and did the Day 2 challenge for the new event to see if I could get the SS, since it was the only one I had an S on.

I tried like 4 times with Jingliu/Rental Blade/Bronya/Luocha, but could never get more than a 4 cycle win.

I then tried it with Jingliu/Pela/Bronya/Luocha....2 cycle first attempt.

Due not underestimate that blue nerd.

Wait there is an SS rank? Eh whatever. I got S on everything and just assumed it was the highest, but I already got all the rewards

yeah, SS is if you finish without entering the final cycle.

Got Aventurine and I finally have a second 5-star sustain character.

I think I've only lost like 1 or 2 50/50's since starting the game, so I just hope this luck keeps continuing...

Don't forget that you want Aventurine in one of the middle spots in the party order, not the side.

Lost the 50/50 to E1 Welt which I don't mind at all then got Adventurine 50-60 pulls later. Not too bad but almost wiped out now.

Light cone is Gepard's 5*. Ratings aren't up yet but I'm very happy with this.

Doing todays Tides of War really got me wanting to pull for Aventurine and Topaz. FUA team is so much fun.

Follow-up team needs more characters I actually want on it. Still run Topaz all the time anyways since shes probably my best character

pulled for aventurine, got clara E2. is that a good one? shes now caught up with bronya as my eidoloniest 5*

anyway I wanted to go for the full IPC team but not meant to be right now

Ill get some more pulls if I go do the 2.1 story and stuff, should I do that? I think Im getting a little burnt out

Clara's best eidolon is E6 by far, but 30% ATK up is absolutely nothing to slouch at.

Got Aventurine in 50 pulls myself. I'm at 3700 def, 135 spd right now when using TOTUM, since I'm stuck at S1 on it. I have no DEF% substats on my speed boots and my helm is somehow really bad, though, so hopefully RNG decides to be kind soon.

Clara E2 is great, unfortunately as with most 5* character the E4 is whatever.

E6 Clara is a legitimate game changer, it's the dream.

Also a reminder that Clara is getting a new 4 piece relic set, almost certainly in 2.3.

Aventurine definitely feels like the juice the followup team was missing. So satisfying to watch the squad pop off. I think my next pulling goal is to get Topaz's S1 or E1? For consistency or to let me run Tingyun or Clara with Ratio. What I'd really love is a Harmony that buffs or has FUAs to live the dream.

It is fitting how Team IPC is the follow-up squad. They want to monopolize the entire turn cycle

Ratio/Topaz/Ruan Mei/Aventurine I assume is the best fua team?

For now, presumably Jade will take Ruan Mei's spot but we know nothing about her as far as I am aware.

Also Carla can replace Ratio depending on the situation.

Im gonna continue only using characters I like meta/optimal be damned. Probably gonna mean a long time of mid teams, but ah well. Eventually my teams will get there

Fortunately I enjoy characters who are assholes and suck so the IPC/followup team fulfills both needs

Except for Numby who did nothing wrong

I think Im gonna break down and grab Aventurine tomorrow. He just seems too all-round useful. Good for the FUA team, good sustain for Acheron teams, good in all high level content. Sorry Fu Xuan, you took too long to come back.
