Sugar water and borax. This is what a lot of ant baits are anyway. You can save a lot of money by just doing it yourself, especially since there's nothing to it... just sugar water mixed with soap.
This guy did an experiment to see the right amount and came to the conclusion that 5 parts sugar to 1 part borax is best. Also, I believe that the queen eats solid food and the workers just eat the sugar water, so dip a piece of bread/cake/muffin or something like that in the mixture and they'll take it to queenie while eating up the syrup for themselves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pgr03_LUzac --- God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast ... Went to place my borax trap and the windowsill which I saw like five ants on earlier before spraying was covered in ant corpses. Literally hundreds of them. Vacuumed those fuckers up and placed the borax down.
