| mercurydude 03/19/24 2:35:58 PM #8: | Sugar water and borax. This is what a lot of ant baits are anyway. You can save a lot of money by just doing it yourself, especially since there's nothing to it... just sugar water mixed with soap.
This guy did an experiment to see the right amount and came to the conclusion that 5 parts sugar to 1 part borax is best. Also, I believe that the queen eats solid food and the workers just eat the sugar water, so dip a piece of bread/cake/muffin or something like that in the mixture and they'll take it to queenie while eating up the syrup for themselves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pgr03_LUzac --- God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes, 'cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose. - Everlast ...
