Honestly the way Jimmy treats Howard this season is pretty shitty lol

I mean I get it, Howard and Jimmy have had a rocky relationship but most of that is Chuck's fault >_>

Oh, yeah. It's a key indicator of his descent that he's doing something that's very hard to sympathize with. Howard is a little arrogant and out of touch, but he doesn't deserve what Jimmy's doing

Like...I really like Jimmy. But I can't stand Saul. But I guess that's kind of the point

the sad thing is, Howard has been a mostly good dude throughout.

we might feel some kinda way about him because Jimmy's the lead, and we feed off of his energy, but taking a step back, you see he lets a lot of things slide that most other people wouldn't.

Honestly, I've liked Howard for most of the show. He definitely has his dick moments, but he's mostly reasonable.

Yeah, I can definitely see the slow transformation. Jimmy seems to do the wrong things for the right reasons, whereas Saul does the wrong things for the wrong reasons.

I like how you're expected to believe that Howard is gonna be the "bad guy" of the series because he's a rich boss and somewhat pompous but he's actually one of the most decent guys out of everyone.

It's worth keeping in mind that Howard allowed Chuck to use him as a scapegoat for keeping Jimmy from working as a lawyer at HHM.

Jimmy is lashing out because Howard appears to be over what happened with Chuck

With Chuck gone there is nobody for Jimmy to take out that anger and lack of closure on except Howard, who was Chucks right hand and now basically king of the McGill law firm

And maybe Jimmy couldve forgiven Howard, but Kim is there to insist to Jimmy that Howard is basically Satan

Honestly, with Howard I was expecting another Ted Beneke situation, but he's actually pretty likable.

Howard has deep ties to the cartels

Another minor aspect is that Jimmy feels that Howard is still looking down on him. Offering him a job is offering a hand up, which to Jimmy means recognizing Howard as above him or superior. Reminds him of Chuck. And lines up with Kim's feelings towards Howard, so they just go off.

Unrelated, but think about Nacho meeting Eladio. Compare it to Jesse meeting Eladio, and to Hector's driver meeting Eladio. He's under more scrutiny, but he still holds up better than either.
