I find that most midwesterners have a strong dislike for it.

I think seafood is too saltywet.

i like crab, lobster, mussels, tuna, salmon, and squid
prob a few more too but idr them anymore

Excellent food. Especially raw ahi.

Shrimp, calamari, sometimes lobster = good

Everything else = fuck off (though I might like salmon nigiri?)

Generally fine with it but my last few encounters with fish have ended in a mild to moderate allergic reaction so I'm scared to keep eating more to find out.

This is a recent phenomenon from within the past year

Yeah seafood is awesome and in my experience people that don't like it are overly picky and not much fun to be around

oh i like seaweed too in its dried and undried forms

ive also had this seafood that looks like tiny green grapes. idr what they are called but they were pretty good

iirc they are very salty but i enjoyed them somehow. maybe the sensation of them popping was what i liked?

id need to try them out again to be sure. it has been a while

kinda hate it, but tuna and salmon aren't bad.

alaskan king crab legs taste like chicken, if chicken lived in the ocean. delicious.

sushi is good but i think i only like it because i don't taste too much fish and i just use it as a vehicle for delicious sauces

I prefer river fish.

I grew up in a soul food lovin' family with my mom's side being mainly in georgia and my dad's in south carolina. I also went to my uncle's church a lot growing up full of older people who hosted a fish-fry whenever they could. Both sides knows how to throw down when it comes to seafood, lol.

Oysters (just had some yesterday. Made some homemade po' boy sandwiches), shrimp, red snapper, flounder, whiting, catfish, swordfish, mahi mahi, tuna, eel, calamari, scallops, mussels, especially crab etc.

Really love it.

It's awesome, crab is one of my favorite foods

Lobster, crab, 'meaty' fish like cod, monkfish, and swordfish are great.

Same, I'd cry because octopi are unworldly freaks and I just had to eat one.

Can't stand most of them. But I do love canned Mustard Sardines.

Because we get very little of the really good stuff, and can't get it super fresh like the coasts can.

But I like it, squid especially.

I eat sushi weekly as a midwesterner.

Midwesterner here. Can confirm I have an extreme dislike of seafood. Only fish I ever enjoyed eating was breaded and fried whitefish or cod.

Love it. I eat every thing (that I've encountered), except raw oysters (it's mean) and sea urchin gonads (texture makes me gag).

I'm eating sushi right now. Seafood is great, especially shrimp and lobster.

I'm not too crazy about lobster myself, but I definitely don't hate it. I like it enough, I just think crab is a way better version of it so if I am spending the money might as well go for crab instead, lol.

Recently have been addicted to canned mackerel. Fresh is superior obviously but give me a can of mackerel and some rice and I'm golden.

I love sushi, not really a fan of most other seafood though.

I love canned fish. Sardines, mackerel, herring... Good stuff. There's a herring filet in horseradish sauce I like to get. That on a toasted baguette slice with dill mustard, a little pile of super thin red onion slices, cracked pepper, and a little fresh dill on top is one of my favorite homemade snacks.

Seaweed is horrible. The rest depends on preparation.

I like just about everything except scallops

Pretty much everything in the sea tastes good. I don't know why.

As someone who grew up around it, and worked on a fishing boat, I absolutely hate seafood, and will under no circumstance eat any kind. Especially lobster and crab.
