I did a recount of Day 3. I got the same results for Power Trick and mostly the same for Morning Sun, although I have Seel -43 and Terapagos -10, which totals to 0 instead of -6 as it did originally

I think it's fair to say that if you're a starter final evo and you barely escape elimination, you go here. (Bonus dud to Silcoon for the worst performance yet!)

Fun fact: Only 11 people cast a vote for Greavard, positive or negative, but there were 39 votes for Silcoon! Mostly negative!

Also, first place and last place for both divisions today were all bugs.

The thing about joltik is that it is great

It's funny that Silcoon and Cascoon showed up on the same day and even funnier that Cascoon still managed to show its superiority even while dying.

Possibly the only funny thing to ever come out of Reddit was that Cascoon fan page where all they did was shit on Silcoon all day.

It's the call of whoever is counting the votes. If it's me, that's "I'm not wiping my lists just for a contest." If it's Para, that's "everybody's fine." If it's somebody else, I'll accept their reasoning too (within reason, you don't get to just go through and block everybody that -3s your fave >_>)

The only thing that went right for Inteleon here is that everyone managed to spell its name right, with only one L (I can't say the same for Treeko, Magerna, or Electroid). I gave Emboar dud of the day before so naturally Inteleon's elimination is an even more embarrassing performance for a starter final evo.

Spoink is adorable and has a funny name how did it finish negative :(

I couldn't vote down Spoink for that one or maybe two anime episodes where it loses the pearl and places random objects and round Pokemon in its place on its head.

I voted against Spoink because it creeps me out that he will die if he stops bouncing

Really, really bad stats for a gen 9 pokemon, especially when Lokix is in the same game, caught around the same time, and much stronger.

I just don't like Spidops' weird cheap wooden toy design. Maybe if they leaned into it more by making it Bug/Grass, but they didn't so instead it's just weird and ugly (and also weak).

Apparently there was evidence of another Spidops form in the datamine, so I am curious what more they were originally planning on doing with it.

Bug Grass is quite possibly the worst possible type combination by objective parameters, that would not help it.

I didn't say it would help make it stronger, just that it would make it lean more into what the design looks like.

Yeah I get that, just weighing in that it would not make me like it more because it would not make up for what it lost in the overall picture.

Ah I haven't played gen 9, I just like how it looks! And figured it'd be inoffensive. I suppose thinking of it as a weak generic earlybug with a cooler-typed counterpart explains things (though I think it looks better than Lokix >_>)

Yeah that's why I don't really like it that much.

I do think it looks better in the official artwork too, so maybe the 3D model just also isn't really doing that look justice?
