I don't know if other people notice it or are bothered by it, but I feel like now anytime I play like a 3rd-person open world game, the protagonist will start panting like they're out of breath whenever they make any kind of physical extertion
Is this supposed to add immersion? I can't remember what but something I played recently had characters sound like they were ready to keel over every time they climbed a ladder.

I hate this too. It's even worse if the game has a stamina system wherein the hero can't even jog for as long as my fat ass.
