I personally get extremely annoyed when people complain about having to work from home during covid, since all my work is done in a lab on-site. My office would cater lunches throughout the entire pandemic for the staff that worked on-site, as an apology for having to put themselves at risk. Once the WFH people found out about it, they would come to the office on the days we had catering, grab lunch, and go home. It was getting so bad that the people who worked IN-OFFICE couldn't get the food that was ordered for them, since they were running out of food by the time you could take your lunch break.
