Why do they keep showing these TAR previews? It makes me far less likely to consider watching.

Also wanted to add that I argued with some morons on Facebook who said it was a "really bad move" that they voted out Mo instead of Venus. I kept saying "Siga was five strong. Nami was five divided. Did you even watch the episode?" Feels good that this episode proved me 100% correct. Voting Mo out was the right move for both Yanu and Nami.

I love Q, I really do. I'm surprised that an aggressive alpha male like him is such an intriguing character to me, yet here we are.

I think it's how erratic he is. He's enigmatic - you never know what you're getting. And that may be because Jelinsky, Jess, and Bhanu were all on his starting tribe, and his sanity devolved quickly.

Also, I hope it's Tim. He does even less for me than Ben does, though that's not saying much. Ben at least had the "T-Swift vs. Metallica" scene, and now opening up at this Tribal. Tim... feels like a dud.

Kenzie I also relate to. I hate making decisions that might hurt somebody. (Also, Kenzie might very well be winning this season after that ovation from Q.)

XD that commendation from Q felt so random, but it's just another part of his mystique.

Good first boot to make up for how the second boot is gonna be bad regardless of whether it's Venus or Soda.

Kenzie wins out. Her keeping Ben helps her winner stock, because he's an assured jury vote for her no matter who she's against. Tim... not so lucky. He was too crafty. Though his final words were funny - where was that Tim earlier?

This also splits up that six-some alliance, though Charlie will take his place because that's who Maria will bring in.

(all that above is despite Q and Tiff voting Tim out, which is fine because Tim clearly wanted "SIGA STRONG!" - which is why you dwindle them down to two and recruit them)

I swear, Liz is playing to specifically reach the FTC and get third place. Everything she does seems designed to be piss people off while remaining non-threatening enough to avoid being a target.

Second Tribal was so boring compared to the first even though it was all bullshit. This group is actually not bad at acting and lying to Jeff.

That was an actually fun/interesting Survivor episode (a rarity in those split tribals), so here's hoping TAR is solid.

Nope, part of why I loved the season so much. I wont comment on the winners edit beyond saying it surprised me.

Oh my God, Q and Venus are legitimately the most amazing characters this season, and we're getting great scenes with both of them.

And then Liz swoops in to be hilariously petty in her own right. Love it.

I'm sad we didn't get a scene of Charlie and Maria taking credit for it.

This hide and seek scene has been really fun. It's goofy, but also all the confessionals about gameplay actually tie into the game, and it's a fun way to handle that. Plus, Q and Venus are the narrators, and it's really great to hear more from them.

Oh my God, Venus is so delusional. I LOVE her for this.

He should've made several people sit out.

Good, I hope the 47 and 48 casts reject his deal too and they stop some of this crap.

Thinking about it, Survivor Hide & Seek was the most enjoyable competition the show has had in over a decade.

It was fun when Angelina did it on her own, but it's run its course now.

Or, I'm not sure when Ausvivor HvV aired, but I could see a situation where Charlie boots Tevin, but uses the opportunity to burn Tiff's idol.

That is how you do a live tribal, where it actually feels like things are up in the air and there's chaos to the vote.

Oh my fucking God, that was amazing.

That was probably my favorite live tribal ever, even though I was never really in doubt that Tevin was going.

Yanu really is the biggest trainwreck starting tribe ever!

It's kind of amazing to me that they gave Tevin a minute+ long confessional to open the season when he didn't even make single-digit placements.

Now I'm hoping Q wins despite trying to quit at every opportunity. It'd be the perfect way to honor Jelinsky's legacy.

Honestly... he's my legit winner pick right now.

If anything, the constant threatening to quit plays into the unconventional edits the winners have been generally getting in the new era (Dee was really the only one with a conventional edit so far).

That's got to be the first time Yvonne & Melissa have seen Ricky & Cesar since the first leg.

That was a beautiful mess. Like... it was a Live Tribal that even the cast hated, and getting to see every single one of them react in the voting booth was glorious. Just amazing.

Quit (I presume that's what the "Q" really stands for) was being ridiculous at Tribal again and I wouldn't be shocked if Tiff and Kenzie turn on him because he outed Tiff's idol to everyone. I highly doubt he wins. If we have an unconventional "winner edit" it's gonna be Venus.

Was fun to see how ridiculous Quit was being with that Hide N Seek game, using how people play that game to judge how they're playing Survivor. Meanwhile Venus was more grounded and used it to analyze their characters and thus their style of gameplay. She has some very apt ideas, even if she's oblivious over half the time.

Derek accomplishes the puzzle, and Shelisa cheers him on, then sees the puzzle and is like "Are you fucking kidding me?"

For all the talk of Danny being a navigation god, he's made a bunch of navigation mistakes in the last few episodes.

Oh, you know what's always a good sign? Mentioning to someone you're talking to on a dating app that Wednesdays are your TV night and she responds "me too - Survivor."

Tevin is SO cocky, I can't wait to see what kind of downfall they're setting him up for.

You don't get much more humiliating of a downfall than being unanimously blindsided in a tribe of 10 (the vote may have been 8-2 but Hunter was still privy to the blindside) at a tribal council where someone else was literally asking to be voted out. One of the most satisfying villain downfalls ever.

Also that it was spearheaded by the least relevant person left in the cast.

Alright, time for the new episode! In the words of far too many BB players, "LET'S GO!"

LOL Tiffany having a fucking blow-up at Q. About time we see Tiff get emotional again.

Also, as much as I hate the modern mindset of resumes, I can appreciate Liz, who feels like everyone views her as a follower, getting upset that the move SHE instigated got completely swallowed up by Q's insanity.

Both of those reactions are just emotional instead of strategic, and it makes them feel so much fresher.
