I bought it for $10 on sale it's easily a 10/10 game for the price I paid for

If this is about Shadow of the Erdtree, itll probably be more like 30 hours if the main game is any indicator, as the new area is supposed to be the size of Limgrave.

Does it delete after 4hrs and you have to buy it again if you want to play another 4hrs?

Except for Atluss bullshit where you know the complete version is coming in 2 or 3 years, I agree.

Im also pissed at Vanillaware because theres an Xbox version of Unicorn Overlord but not a PC one? Thats just insulting.

Yeah, P5 is the last time I make that mistake. When P6 comes out, I'll just wait for the Reloaded/Golden/Royal edition instead. Otherwise, their games are mostly quality stuff.

As I said in another topic: Vanillaware is allergic to releasing their games on PC, for some reason. Other Japanese developers--particularly those under Atlus--have discovered that there are hella profits to be made by (correctly) porting a game to PC, but Vanillaware just...doesn't seem to care? I dunno, it's really weird, and I say this as someone who doesn't really game much on PC like my wife does.

I hope for your sake you got a Switch or PS5 so you can enjoy the game. It looks like it's going to be the best TRPG since FFT. No hyperbole there.

I have a Switch, but I absolutely refuse to ever, ever buy a third party game on that piece of shit (Monster Hunter Rise being the only exception as a friend wanted to co-op it at launch). I dont have a PS5. I have a PS4, but eh. I dont really want to turn thing on either.

Cost shouldn't be weighed against the time to complete a game, but rather the quality and enjoyment.

I have confirmed with multiple people who have played the demo that Unicorn Overlord plays just fine on the Switch. Do youself a favor and try the demo on it and see for yourself.

This game is worth breaking that principle of yours, just this once.

I think time should also be a factor on top of that. Since if it didnt feel like you get enough playtime out of the base game then $30-40 dlc would feel like a rip off afterward.

KH3 is a good example of a ripoff while monster hunter is a good one.

I'd agree that that's a ripoff for a game.

That being said, I've paid way more to go to games and boxing matches that lasted far less than four hours, so it's a weird issue that gaming time feels like you should get more bang for your buck than any other medium.

My hangup at this point is that if I buy a PS5 now I guarantee a PS5 Pro will come out this year. At the moment its only rumored, but Ill probably wait the year out for that.

Man if it only took you 2 hours your first playthrough to get through Limgrave then you're playing the game wrong objectively lol

I spent close to 20 hours just exploring Limgrave. I wanted to find every cave and NPC. I still missed a ton of stuff.
