I don't see why that wouldn't be a compelling show, about a woman working her way up through the ranks. The idea couldn't work in the slightest. If they made a movie about all female frontline commandos in WW2... obviously that would be to either do a weird history subversion like "Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" or they would do it to piss off conservatives for all the publicity it's worth. I mean ultimately do I think an attempt at a serious WW2 movie about conscripted female ground troops would make a good movie? No... would I watch it? Probably not... Will I get super upset and scream that it's part of an attack on my conservative, Christian, masulinity? ...lol no. I think the bigger issue would be the ALL-female part. Could someone do a good movie about the ghost witches? Absolutely. Would it work with an all female cast?
