My fave E3 moment is the Smash Bros. invitational in 2014 for the Wii U edition of Smash Bros. It was quite hype. I also liked in 2001 when Melee and the Gamecube were featured.

2006 Sony Conference I think it was? Where like EVERYTHING went wrong. Also the 2013 Sony Conference where they just blew Microsoft out of the water. I remember there was an interview with one of the Microsoft guys, and they asked what people without internet access or in areas where access was unavailable can do, and the guy was like "Play Xbox 360 instead". ... My favorite E3 moment is when a deluded E3 fanboy tried claiming E3 was irreplaceable as a hype machine for video games even though it hadn't been relevant in a decade and as though dozens of other events and Directs and showcases hadn't replaced it and done a better job generating hype already
