Where did you go, what did you do?

I suppose I could ask the reverse but I do not care to hear from Europeans at this time.

I haven't even been to any states outside of my immediate part of the US, so...

I haven't. Only been to other US states, Mexico and some islands in the carribean.

Yes of course. To many countries. Being well traveled is important.

I was there for about a week, with my brother and my cousin.

we went to: Amsterdam, Belgium, France, and Spain.

it wasn't a well-plotted trip, so we never stayed more than one or two days somewhere, but I still liked it.

Technically yeah I went to Germany but it was was at such a young damn age that I dont remember shit.

Nope. Only time I've left the country was to go up north to Canada.

I love traveling but surprisingly I haven't been to Europe, but I definitely will eventually. I want to go to the UK, Italy, Netherlands and Germany for sure. I've only been to Asia and Africa so far.

Planning to also specifically visit Krakow, Poland and Budapest, Hungary this year, and will include Czechia and Slovakia as part of my time over there.

Just love traveling and wandering, especially now that we have kids.

No but I'm going at the end of this month. We are spending 9 days in London and 6 in Barcelona

Spent a week in France and two weeks in Italy during a background trip about fifteen years ago.

Why is it important to be well-traveled?
Im asking as someone who was influenced by the idea that tourists are a loathsome, vapid sort that was depicted in 90s American pop culture.

Yes, I've been to Germany, Austria, Italy, Czechia, Sweden, Ukraine and Russia. Really want to go back to Sweden one day especially in a warmer month

I spent a week in London and ten day in Scotland. We hit all the major tourist spots in London, had a lot of great food.

Scotland was way more suited to my tastes though. The countryside is gorgeous with amazing hiking available every where. We stayed in Fort William for 3 days, spent most of a day in Glasgow enroute to Fort William, and then a week in Edinburgh which is a gorgeous city.

Yes. Ive been to England, France, Germany, and Ireland. England, France, and Germany were all family trips and Ireland was a month-long college trip to travel the country and go to a weeklong traditional Irish folk music festival.

Germany, Austria, Hungary. But as great as those were my favorite is the half day I spent in Amsterdam on layover. My kind of city, love it.
