Wake up in the middle of the night, pushups and situps, then I take like a four hour long walk, or at least until the sun comes up.

Then I curl up while sitting crosslegged and remind myself my condition is not my fault while also replaying every cringeworthy thing I've ever done since I was six years old, and then considering the myriad missed opportunities I've had in life.

Then I get tired of that and play video games until my girlfriend wakes up.

This was how I handled it, but meds and adherence to routine have reduced this event to maybe 2-3 times in the past 3 years.

I rarely get them but when I do... it's like my body is in panic mode but my mind is not? And while it's happening, my "inside voice" is TALKING-IN-ALL-CAPS if that makes sense.

I just try to listen to slow music and relax. It's crazy too, because it feels like my pulse is going crazy but when I test it, it's normal. Seeing that reading helps, and slowly feels like everything syncs back up

Very rare for me, maybe once every 4-5 months and never figured out what starts it for me, had it for as long as I can remember

Just remind yourself of reality once in awhile

try to remember the positives in life and accept the things you definitely cannot change

drink cold water and dont worry cause remember we are technically animals that evolved

im not so sure really what to say tho cause I have severe anxiety and it gives me headaches and honestly raises my heart rate

Ive been lucky enough to never have one. Are there any factors that make people more susceptible to them?

I don't. It sucks.

Okay, helpful answer. I try to remove myself from whatever or wherever triggered it and put some chilled out music on (I pretty much always have headphones with me). Some cold water also goes down a treat.

I focus a lot more on prevention though. After seeing a therapist, I started trying to remove sources of anxiety in the first place. I cut out energy drinks and put far more attention on the amount of coke I drank. I actually made sure I get enough sleep. I try to come up with backup plans for stuff I do (e.g. if I'm going to a gig, I work out some backup routes). I make some quiet time for myself. I ended up changing careers because retail management is very destructive to mental health, although I appreciate that that isn't an option for a lot of people.

Prevention is better than a cure, although I recognise that this is basically saying "Have you tried not having anxiety attacks?"
