The thing is that I drink it purely for flavor; I don't need it for energy, and if they ever made a non-energy version of it that tasted the same or at least pretty similar, I would jump on that in a heartbeat. I personally think alcohol tastes awful, but that's my opinion. It's only the first sip that's worth anything, after that the whole thing becomes very syrup-y sans Monster Mule (which they discontinued :[). It's not addictive since I don't crave it, it's just f* all to drink when you're not a coffee guy.
