The one biggest flaw of BB from my perspective was the Blood Vial system. It's strictly inferior to Estus Flasks, especially when you get hardstuck on a boss. Sometimes i am in the zone and can get through him relatively easily, other times i have a weird brain setting turned on and he completely wrecks me. it's one of my most inconsistent fights as well. one of the big reasons is because he's one of the few bosses that never appears in the chalice dungeons. as a result, you really only fight him ONCE per playthrough. add to that his janky movement, his weird hitbox, etc. etc. difficult fight + I don't fight him as often as other bosses = really inconsistent some things that probably do help a lot; He staggers more easily than other bosses. If you stay on him and keep hitting him, you can stunlock him into a pretty long combo chain. He can be parried. Although I find it really annoying to try and parry him, some people are probably way better at it than I am. When he sticks his sword in the ground, and a million flying blades shoot at you from every direction, you can actually lock on to the sword in the ground and shoot it with your gun. When you do that, the flying swords also stop spawning. Although in theory this makes the final phase of the fight easier, the reality is that it's still pretty difficult/annoying to try and lock onto the blade and shoot it while Logarius himself is constantly top of you attacking you and there's projectiles flying at you from every direction. But in theory it should be possible. He's still a lot more aggressive in that final phase so it can still be tough. All in all, for me, it's a fight that I can usually win if my damage output is high enough. But if my weapon is still lacking in upgrades, and especially lacking in blood gems, I won't even bother. Easier to win by out damaging him rather than relying on finesse or skill.. TomNook7 posted... And then i got my third umbilical cord so i guess im killing these babies or something anyway while i was waiting for the game to load, i went in the kitchen to reheat thanksgiving leftovers, came back and saw the hunters workshop on fire. Shit caught me off guard lol, i grabbed my controller thinking we were under attack like OH SHIT Doll says gehrmans waiting for me in the courtyard. Okay. So i vaguely remember this is where i fucked up last time i played this. Gerhman was like is it ok if i kill you now and i was like sure i guess and then the game ended so im guessing i need to do my cloud saves before talking to him? get killed for one ending (which i should already have), kill him for another, and use three cords to get the true? Also what Ebrietas actually is, has been contested. The fact that she takes extra damage from anti-Kin weapons suggests she is not a pure Great One at least, but she is probably at least older than Rom, the Hunters and the Healing Church. Plus you meet her again in a chalice dungeon later, which lore-wise is where she was first found by the church. The church then used her blood to improve Yharnams healing methods apparently. Fishing Hamlet is very cool in a lot of ways, although I wish it had sprawled a little bit more rather than focusing on small encounters with overly powerful enemies. The Research Hall is a bit of a genuine dungeon crawl, more in line with what I really like in my games. I love it when i have to break the pizza cutter in half and pull out the gun for the super fast 1v1s. That fight truly felt like i was playing some insane fighting game And winning that fight gave me the courage to fight the first defiled dungeon boss, and i just parried him to death like it was nothing. Also i had all three HP runes equipped to help deal with the curse --- I'm the original TomNook7 from the old days. The other guy is just TomNook.
