My ImageFAQs embedding still works, at least on the Imgur sigs I've seen on the board today. I haven't seen any that wouldn't load for me yet.

The reason it breaks is because imgur blocks hot linking directly to the image file.

Because it detects the wrong referral.

That's why you can reload it.

The way to fix it is to change this:

To this:

https://imgur.com/a/wi8ESqj

And then your sigs will work right for everyone.

I know mine doesn't and I tried redoing it long ago, but it didn't work. Didn't go further because I figured nobody sees them anymore anyway. I do kinda miss my caffeinated Bobby Hill though. Visible sigs helped me remember who users were too plus it was fun seeing some of the bonkers stuff some would have.

I've been having imgur issues when clicking through.

Changing the domain from .com to .io seems to solve the issue. But I still have to copy and paste into the address bar.

This isn't a problem I've encountered on desktop, that I remember. Just mobile.

I should experiment more with the .io domain.

But the thing is .io does not embed afaik.
