That are like 36k per year or more, or even less.
I think it's a waste.

I went to one for two years. This is in the UK.

I can't lie: the facilities are in a different league from state schools. Especially when it comes to sports, drama, and music, which are almost professional standard.

I wouldn't say the teachers are necessarily any better, but tiny class sizes sure help.

36k is a good religious school. 50k is a good secular private day school.
If you went to a good private school, you have a very low-risk path to success.

I'm fine with them provided that tax money isn't taken out of public schools.

Want to pay more for your kids to attend a private school? Sure thing, but you still pay your normal taxes as those are meant for the betterment of everyone, not just your kids.

And I attended both public and private schools.

I still resent my family being too poor to send me to the Catholic school that I wanted to go to.
I was an edgy atheist teenager, but they were one of the better schools in the area for education, even if they were mostly known for sports.

Most people I knew who switched from private to public school found the general quality of school worse (idk if they meant education, people, or both). There was one exception I knew who willingly dropped out of a Catholic girls school after two weeks or something to go or public school.

I went to a Catholic School for the first few years of my schooling.
Honestly, I preferred it over public schools.
