Captain America 4 has been delayed to 2025 and is allegedly being completely reshot. Gonna go through another rebuilding phase at the MCU. Marvel will have to be very careful for a bit to build up a positive rep again. By most metrics The Flash and The Marvels are both "good enough" films that would have probably done well 2 years ago, but there's no longer a halo effect for superhero films. When that almost inevitably fails, they're going to move into the "oh shit let's can the whole thing and reboot it from scratch and hope we get lucky again next time" phase. The franchise as it exists is probably too damaged to ever really be resuscitated by anything less than epic means, and Disney seems to completely lack not only the desire to put that much effort it, but also the awareness of what they're doing wrong in the first place.
