Honestly never watched it. I watch a ton of tv but mostly shows on extended cable channels and originals on movie channels like HBO. I pretty much never watch anything on normal network tv (NBC, ABC, or CBS)

The first season was great.

Part way through the second season it became evident that they didnt really have a plan and everything went to hell from there.

I have Prime. I do remember it being a huge show. I might actually have to check it out all these years later.

one of the few shows I'd give a 10/10 to, even with its apparent "flaws".

my favorite character was probably Desmond, but I liked most of the main cast.

my least favorite was Mike - his having to protect Walt brought out the worst in him, and idk if I cared for the storyline.

yeah MIke was a tough character to love for sure, though i can see where his brain was.

I really enjoyed it up until Season 5. I still liked it but certain things started happening that just tanked how much I enjoyed it.

Season 6 kinda upped my interest again by a little bit.

Never watched it until a year or so after it aired. I freaking loved it. Such an amazing show. I refuse to binge watch it over and over again though.

I waited five years after watching the first time (not intentionally, that just happened to be when I felt like I wanted to watch it again) and it was like the perfect amount of time. Did it again after another five years a couple years ago. Still amazing. Ill just watch it every five years until I die I guess

Favorite character is definitely Sawyer.

It was probably a better experience than it was a show.

All the hype, the discussion, the theories, and the WTF moments week-on-week was a genuinely unparalleled community experience at the time it was airing live.

The show was definitely flawed, with some pacing issues, multiple pointless plot threads and characters, and some ropey decisions. Those flaws stand out now, and will no doubt be pretty glaring to anyone binging the show outside of the overall experience of everyone waiting for the next episode together, but at the time they were more than forgivable.

Saying "you had to be there" never fails to make you sound like an absolute bellend, but... fuck... you had to be there.

As memed as it has become in the years since, I still don't think any TV moment has absolutely blindsided me more than "WE HAVE TO GO BACK!"

Best character was definitely Sawyer, worst was Paolo (he just beats Nikki by virtue of the latter having scenes with Billy Dee Williams)

Still my absolute favorite show of all time. And yeah I watched it when it was on TV so it was a whole ass experience. Having to wait like 8 whole ass months between seasons or whatever it was. I would re watch the episodes on ABC.com so I would watch every episode at least twice a week. I was INTO that shit

Havent watched it since it finished but I absolutely loved it. Ive thought about watching it again but never get around to it.

I did miss out on the weekly discussions though, as I was first introduced to it about a month before the finale. Binged the show over a couple weeks and still had my mind blown several times, cant imagine how rough it was having to wait a week (or months after a season finale) to see what was next. I got caught up on episodes when there were just two left to air and it drove me nuts having to wait lol

Im going with 8.

Sawyer has to be the best character in the show with Desmond a close second.

Ill be that guy and offend some Aussies and pregnant people, but Claire was insufferable. Not just her character, but just the name Claire is terrible.

This about sums it up. Like I have zero desire to ever rewatch the show and I'm not likely to recommend it to someone to watch now, but as it was happening it was something else. And I loved that.

Season 5's finale end shot broke the internet beautifully that night. Black font on white screen over the blast was f'n boss.

My journey with the show:
S1 rented Blockbuster sick one week 2005, binged it craving more.
S2 waited until DVD, bought for another full binge.
S3 avoided until DVD, only to have date delayed so I purchased a pirated set.
S4 I began watching 'live' & it's probably my 2nd fav season, & likely its finest acted.
S5 time travel was fascinating, & esp. appreciated their closed loopholes about it.
S6 high highs, low lows (Kate's eps, & the placement of Across the Sea). Across the Sea I always argued should've/could've been mini flashbacks drawn out over the season, or at least put it as season premiere or 2nd/3rd out of the way, rather than put it right up against the finale main event - with zero actors/characters we'd ever seen before.

I did a full re-watch after S6, & it landed nicely. I've done character arc re-watches for much shorter stints - Jack & Christian episodes arc is excellent tv.

I do hope future gens give LOST a try.

9/10. I feel like my favorite characters are kind of a cliche. Locke, Desmond, Ben, and Eko are all up there. I didn't care much for Jack for a long time, but by the end he was also one of my favorites.

Sawyer was good too, but I never cared much for Kate, and I wasn't as big on Sayid as most people seemed to be.
