I've lived near small schools. From my experience, the children themselves aren't much trouble but entitled parents are absolute assholes. They'd do shit like park in people's driveways and other asshole behaviors. Daycare would hopefully be better though since not everyone is picking up their kid at the same time

In my world, being able to drop your kids at a nearby daycare raises the price, while having scavenging bears at your backyard lowers it.

Unless its a 24hr daycare. Between the hours or drop off and pick up would be noisy say 6am to 6pm.

People have a problem with that? Most homes are issued a license for daycare that is limited on the size of your home.

Again, most homes can house eight children max (depends on state) Anything bigger requires a larger facility. All of this is up to licensing. If the state sends someone to the home to inspect its safe these people complaining dont have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

Noise violation is laughable.

I'm sure you and many others would do the same. Many people incorrectly think they have the right to control what's built outside of their property, and it's bad that they think that way and it sadly leads to increased expenses of public goods and private goods.

They dont have a right to control it, but they do have a right to voice their opinions to their elected officials.

This tracks with our modern understanding of stakeholder theory.

Those opinions that they voice regarding preserving scarcity of services and real estate are detrimental to the neighborhood, the town, and society at large.

lol'd I lived in a building on a business area back in my day. Had a daycare with school next to it. Kids making noise from 6:30am. Was fine when my classes started at 7 but when you get these semesters when your first class is at 12 and your last one at 5:30? fuck waking up at 6.

Daycares are a business and should stay out of residential areas. If you allow any, then the others soon follow and its no longer a residential area.
