There are way too many factors for me to add more detailed poll options, so I'll keep them simple.

Killing Hamas sounds easy on paper, but going scorched earth almost never works against terrorist groups. It drives victims into extreme views and gets them to join terrorist groups. You can't kill ideology with bombs or guns.

There is no eradication of Hamas without an eradication of all Palestinians. Netanyahu does not differentiate the two, seeing as how he has been trying to genocide Palestinians for years.

No. Hamas isn't the problem, they're the symptom of much deeper issues. Without addressing those, another group would simply take their place and we'd be back at square one.

The sad part is that if this turns out to be true it would 100% be because Israel created this atmosphere. throughout the decades.

The last Hamas fighter you kill is also the fighter their children will think of when they pick up the gun for themselves.

Hamas aren't just cartoon bad guys who popped into existence one day and decided to do bad stuff for the sake of bad stuff. Hamas is the explosion of the pressure cooker that was all the oppression and hopelessness the Palestinians have been subjected to for decades

If that statement is true, then Israel is the product of two thousand years of antisemitism, persecution, and attempted genocide.

In which case the problem still applies if you think eradicating Israel is the way to go.

Pretty much this.

The PLO sat back and did sweet fuck all when Israel went after Gaza a couple decades ago, and Hamas was muy displeased with the Fatah, as were the Palestinian people, who then voted in genocidal Islamist despots. It was a Trump-like situation where many votes for Hamas weren't a vote for Hamas but against the existing Fatah authorities, who they viewed as corrupt.

As we all know, extreme violence stopped the IRA, al Qaeda, ISIS etc. So why wouldn't it this time?

No one has suggested eradicating Israel as "the way to go".
