The Chaetopterus pugaporcinus is a tiny worm that was discovered by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute in 2007. It's roughly 10-20 mm in size. Oh yeah, it's more commonly known as the pigbutt worm or flying buttocks, and its Latin species name roughly translates to "resembling a pig's rear".

Should've named it the Skinnerophicus Bigbuttilus.

A dime has 118 ridges on its edge.
The ridges on the edge of U.S. coins were added to silver coins, such as dimes and quarters, for security purposes. They made coins harder to reproduce by counterfeiting, and prevented clipping (removing small amounts of silver from coins to sell for profit).

Yuck but interesting. From Newsweek

Comments on the video of C. gangis, which six days after posting has more than 200,000 shares, express fear and confusion at this strange creature's inflating organs which are each about the length of the rest of his body. The behavior is confusing and makes it look a bit like a sinister alien. But the animal is harmless, as long as you don't eat too many of them.
When C. gangis is just a caterpillar, before it has transformed into its mothy self, it eats plants with alkaloid chemicals. These plants evolved toxicity to discourage insects from eating them, but the caterpillars bit back evolutionarilyin fact, it's necessary for them to eat the toxic plants in order to grow these glands as moths. The more toxins they eat, the bigger their hair-pencils ultimately will be. These toxins also have the added benefit of making them taste terrible

Wombats Poop Cubes

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/scientists-have-solved-mystery-how-wombats-poop-cubes-180976898/

To build on those results and fully understand how the wombats soft intestinal walls created sharp cube-like edges in the poop, Yang and her team dissected two wombats and examined the texture and structure of the intestinal tissue, reports Tess Joosse for Science. A 2-D mathematical model created from the wombats intestinal tract showed how the organ expanded and contracted during digestionand eventually squeezed out the excrement, reports Science.
A cross-section of the wombats intestine is like a rubber band with two ends kept slightly taut and the center section drooping. The rigid and elastic parts contract at different speeds, which creates the cube shape and corners, Patricia Yang tells Elena Debre for Slate.

Herpes Gladiatorum, commonly known as mat herpes is a skin infection commonly found in wrestlers. Roughly 30% of high school wrestlers carry it, but only 3% are aware they carry it. Its commonly spread because of the skin-to-skin contact, as well as the virus being on the mats.

Also, interesting Wonder Woman fact: the creator of Wonder Woman was in a thruple that involved his first wife and his student. They were heavily into bondage which inspired early iterations of the super heroine. Thruple lasted 22 years all the way to his death

Think the bandage kink is well known at least amoung comic fans. The rest I didn't know though.

Wonder of he had a kink for making a woman stronger than himself subservient or if wonder woman is only strong cause she wouldn't make much of a hero otherwise.

Came in any color you wanted, if they had been released.
They were both easier to make and cheaper than normal tires, but it turned out to have too much negative points.
They couldnt handle heat well, so they could start to melt while breaking.
They lost the grip while wet.
They weighted 150 pounds. Thats 5-10 times more than a normal tire.

The dot over a lowercase i and j is called a 'tittle' or superscript dot. The word 'tittle' is known to be a combination of words 'tiny' and 'little', and refers to a small stroke or dot in writing or printing. Derived from Latin word 'titulus', it aims to distinguish letters with vertical strokes such as u, m, and n.

Soccer balls were initially used for basketball, and they worked fine with the original rules as there was no dribbling. It was more of a rugby like game, running with the ball and mayhem on the court. To reduce bloodshed, running was eliminated, passing and dribbling were then the only ways to move the ball. Naismith, the creator of basketball, worked with Spalding to create a ball that worked with the evolving rules, something about the same size as a soccer ball, that bounced better on a hardwood gym floor.

And early basketballs were thrown into a basket, and every time someone scores, the game is paused while a person has to climb the ladder to retrieve the ball.
