Such a fucked up response to a completely reasonable request. Cop should definitely get some time for that and the other cops should get marks against them for refusing to put on masks and not stopping the other cop long before he got to 13 punches. Masking up should not be something first responders are allowed to refuse when dealing with immunocompromised people.

The punishment for covering the camera / turning it off is much less than for what the camera would show. That's why the cops do it.

Bodycams are actually pretty useless because they end up hurting the victim more than the cop who committed the crime. If there's footage, it can be doctored. If the footage is lost, people still take the word of the cop over the victim.

That's why it's absolutely imperative that we start cracking down more harshly on cops who violate the procedure and tamper with their body cams. Make it a felony to tamper with, and make it a mandatory fireable offense if one does not leave it on.
