First off, he's not alt right.

Secondly, a democrat is winning no matter what. Trump will be in prison, and the rest of the party is destroying their own campaign. So it would be wise for someone else to run in Biden's place. Because the last thing we need is an 86 year old centrist swaying idiot moderates further to the right when we could have literally anyone else.

I'm always instantly suspicious of someone who says this but won't say who they would support running in his place, as in specific names. He might say "Anyone but Biden" but then if that happens shift to "Guys I have some serious concerns about Harris/Newsom/whoever. I don't know if I can really support them."

We really need to make it illegal for anyone over the age of 70 to run for political office.

I wish Biden would have had the sense to not run for reelection. You could have easily groomed someone to take advantage of this situation, instead of giving us ANOTHER 4 years of "we just need to worry about keeping the ship afloat". It's not like the Republicans will be less fascist in 2028. I'm sure the Dems will continue to push "now is not the time to do anything crazy when we still have Republicans to defeat". All the people that suffer and die in that 12, 16, 40 year span will at least know that the country could have been even worse if the GOP won.
