I think incumbency advantage loses some potency when
1) people generally aren't thrilled with how things are going
2) the opponent enters with as much, if not more, name recognition

The people you listed either stated they aren't interested or have 0 chance at winning swing states considering that requires winning over swing voters. When pressed on this you always avoid this fact and give a non answer of "aNy CaNdIdAtE cOuLd WiN" or some variant of "the country being doomed if we can't find better candidates."

All of which are all either non answer and or pure delusion backed by idealism. That's ofc being generous that you're even a serious poster given several users here have disclosed your alt (or whatever you want to call your old account) posted conservative values.

There is an existing constitutional amendment to remove Biden from power if hes alive but incapacitated. Theres existing DNC rules to handle how to select a new candidate. Concern trolling that maybe Dems wont follow established procedures for predictable problems is asinine.

Meanwhile, there is no existing age restriction rule. Whether you want him to or not, Biden is running again and a contentious primary wouldnt be helpful.

The only person doing this is a known troll who gaslights. I have never posted conservative values on CE, because back when I was conservative I was very apathetic towards politics in general. This was over 7 years ago, back when I was barely a few years removed from high school.

Biden is the only democrat that could ever win a swing state? Something tells me that's bullshit. Regardless, Bernie when he ran won plenty of swing states in the primaries and national polling historically suggests that true progressive policies have always held the majority voters when it comes to moderates.

Bernie lost Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Mexico, Arizona, North Carolina. Plus if you liked Bernie then the problem isnt Bidens age.

Biden was old in 2020 when the voters overwhelmingly picked him. Biden is old with dementia was a failed talking point in 2020 and their failed prediction that Harris would be a new Cheney running things from background is only making that talking point even weaker.

For starters Bernie did not even win the primaries. Bernie math trying to rationalize why he lost doesn't matter in the real world where in reality he lost in the elections that actually matter.

Second, the primaries do not determine who wins over swing voters in a general election. Even IF Bernie won the primary (which he didnt) winning a Democrat primary does not remotely mean he will win a general election. Polls that reaffirm your feelings and primary elections are not how the PotUS is actually elected.

Bernie is younger and in better health than Biden. Plus, once the president is elected I do not care what their age is as there is a perfectly suitable VP in place in case something were to happen.

Not the right wing straw man version, the actual version - stop giving them expensive military hardware they dont need and put that money toward things that actually address the root cause of a lot of crime instead, like mental health and youth centre programs.

Defund the police as in fire half of them and lower wages for the rest isnt a position held by anyone.
