Not thrilled with no prison time for someone who conspired to overthrow American democracy. He'd better have some pretty damning testimony to offer.

I would trade all of the co-conspirators' charges for a guaranteed prison (not probation) sentence on Trump. Personally

At least he has to testify truthfully each time or else Hall will face real consequences.

It does suck that he escapes the RICO charge but, each guilty plea makes it dramatically worse for Trump. Each one becomes an additional sword for Fani to use against Trump.

Cathy Latham is the one who let them into the building, but I believe he was one of the people who walked in with her.

Plea deals doesn't mean he escaped the charge it just means he won't be punished for it. The deal has its own responsibility he has to hold up and whatever that is, is probably much more valuable than extra prison time.

Yeah... Scott Hall was a fucking bail bondsman. Why he would involve himself in this is a mystery to me. Nobody would even know who he is if he hadn't done this dumb shit.

https://apnews.com/article/jeffrey-clark-georgia-federal-court-64183e3dc09d1f2e03fc4b4dab1c2bdb

Scott Hall pleaded guilty to 2 counts of conspiracy to commit election fraud, conspiracy to commit computer theft, conspiracy to commit computer trespass, conspiracy to commit computer invasion of privacy, and conspiracy to defraud the state. He was sentenced to:
  • 5 years probation
  • $5,000 fine
  • 200 hours community service
  • Must write letter of apology
  • Must testify against other defendants.

I pulled the sentencing details from a few different sources. Not sure if that's everything

Edit: Found another source with charges that seem more accurate. I'm hoping I can find a document from the state to confirm everything at some point.

I just changed the stuff he pleaded guilty to... I'm finding different stuff on different sources, but another source I found made more since... I'm hoping I can find some document from the state to clear this up for me.

I'm guessing Scott Hall wasn't a high priority target for prosecution since his bond was only $10,000.

Scott Hall will likely be a fact witness against Sidney Powell in a few weeks. He was one of the people who tampered with voting machines in Coffee County, GA.

They were trying to look into the idea that Dominion voting machines were flipping votes from Biden to Trump... In a county where Trump got almost 70% of the vote...

Pleading guilty to criminal trials means automatic guilty in civil. There's no incentive for Freeman & Moss to settle.

I will be surprised if more than 8 people actually go to trial and honestly I think that itself is a high number. The Coffee County Misfits, the fake electors, and the ones that intimidated poll workers will almost certainly all wind up taking a deal. I also think Ellis, Meadows, and Clark will also likely wind up taking deals as they only face one other charge in addition to RICO. I think between Chesebro and Powell at least one will take a deal and it would not surprise me if both do. That leaves Trump, Giuliani, Eastman, Roman, Smith, and Cheely.

The big question is who from that group is willing to take a deal. I can't see any scenario where Trump would. The rest though it is going to be interesting and yes it may very well be Trump standing alone by the end. They may be loyal to him, but when it is their freedom on the line I think anyone would do whatever is necessary to be certain they don't wind up in prison. The beauty of RICO is that it is designed in such a way that it encourages people at the bottom to turn on those at the top.

Also ythey see that Trump sees people as being disposable. It is obvious that Trump is not going to help them. Yes Trump did a $100,000 diner for Giuliani but what exactly did he personally contribute to it? If he paid for all of it I don't see it costing more than $10,000 but the possibility is that the event was paid for from the money raised and the Giuliani got what was left.
