On Saturday some bastard got into my email account I use for my gaming stuff and then my Discord. No idea how -- I don't click weird or open scam mail. Maybe they just brute-forced it somehow.
Anyway, I got a ticket in ASAP and also alerted Discord to fraudulent purchases they made, and the latter seems to have been solved. The fucker managed to take one of my friends accounts too by masquerading as me. I've been a wreck ever since, and I have no idea how long I should expect to wait. Looking online has only made me more worried -- I've seen that Discord auto-deletes accounts that have been blocked for 14 days, and that if you lose the email address it's tied to (as I did since it was the first change the thief made) then you're fucked. I have a lot of info on that account I'd want to keep. Does anyone have any experience in this situation? --- E come vivo? Vivo! ... Copied to Clipboard!

One of my friends got hacked on Discord in almost an identical way - he did get his original account back, but it did take at least a week or so to get resolved.

I'm dealing with Discord support right now on an unrelated, but equally frustrating issue. It seems to take them about 8 days on average to respond which is just... insane, honestly. Especially if that's true about them auto-deleting an account after 14 days. That seems to leave an extremely small amount of room for error between your account getting erroneously blocked (like mine was) and them deleting it.

I guess to say that another way, it seems to take them 8 days to respond to a request as simple as 'Your account was accidentally caught in the spam filter. We just unblocked it.'
