Saw em last night at Xcel Center. He just sits up there smokes cigarettes and talks out of his butt for an hour. Darnell Rawlings had a funnier set.

Out of all the comedy shows iv seen his was the worst.

My top 4 are

1. Sinbad
2. Carrot Top
3. Nick Swardson
4. Gabriel Iglesias

Any time I hear a comedian complain about 'woke' or 'cancel culture' it just turns me off. I used to be a huge bill burr fan and I had to turn off his latest special five minutes in because that's what it started off with. It's just lazy and whiny

Honestly, Sinbad kicks ass. I love how simple his comedy is and it has everyone in the audience falling over.

I didn't even like Chappelle's return that much before he started making his entire set about complaining. It was pretty boring. I just find there are people that do what he used to do, but far better. I love Stavros personally.

Any time these older comedians get all anti woke it IS cringe. because it does come off as old man yelling at clouds.

I feel like a millenail or gen Z comedian could poke fun at woke culture and actually have success because, at the very least, since they are a part of the "woke generation" they might actually have fresh takes on things. I don't know if Chappelle or Burr have done it, but every time I hear a comedian go "well my pronouns are john deere tractor and i identify as farming equipment ahahahah" or something I want to scream because it's not a funny take, and it's been done to death.

That's fair but he has gotten much whinier about "woke" shit lately

he's gotten really stale. The only funny thing i find about him lately is that the people who use to accuse him of being racist are now praising him for speaking the truth.

I've always considered people writing books too early in their career to be a telltale sign of not actually caring as much about their primary career, whether it's a comedian or a scientist. Oh, so you're writing a book because you have a special insight for the world? ....great

I hope TC isnt mad about comedians going woke. Hes the one that got mad about his white coworkers getting MLK Day off

Yeah. Even without getting into the political aspect of it, there seems to be an underlying complaint in that sort of statement of being upset that they have to try harder to be funny.
