Everybody except pedophiles hate pedophiles, it's just that both sides can't agree on who objectively are and aren't pedophiles.

By which I mean one side accuses the LGBTQ community of being pedophiles and child groomers for merely existing and the other side points out how that side condemning the community sure does seem to support child bride marriages and often get caught with CP/grooming children.

Probably not. A lot will talk about bipartisan issues like availability of housing, or healthcare, or corporations being too centralized & monopolistic, but then when you probe most people about those topics any semblance of addressing the issues goes out the window.

Increasing the military budget. Increasing police budgets. Support for Saudi Arabia and Israel. Opposing socialism. These things aren't unanimous, but they have broad support from politicians of both parties.

No one in government tbh that I know I'm more so talking about the voters, who in very rare cases like that more perfect union video from a month ago. They'll agree to some of that, & for a brief moment AOC & Matt Gaetz agreed on limiting Congress from owning or trading stocks, but she didn't work with him because he's a pdf so I get that.

Opposing socialism isnt bipartisan. The others I guess you could make a case for because the two parties are democrats and republicans, I.e center right and far right. If youre looking at bipartisan as left wing and right wing on the other hand, Republicans are opposed to every single leftist stance.

The Dems have both progressives and establishment types in the fold. That's why supporting the rich and military complex are bipartisan. Progressives don't have sufficient influence yet to actually steer the party to the left. Hence why, as you said, it's still center right vs far right.

It isnt about butthurt, its the fact its literally useless and costs millions of dollars every year, in addition to costing actual lives. Theres no positive and severe negatives, so it needs to go.

CA is a regrettable exception. Any competent partisan gerrymander of the state would end up with no Republicans in the CA House delegation.

But there is an independent districting commission in CA that draws the lines.

My term for this is stupidity is "unilateral disarmament in the face of fascism."

Maryland is the only state that's actually gerrymandered to help democrats. Where they have massive majorities they have independent commissions because actual voting rights are a value they have.

1 state democrat gerrymandered vs 38 states republican gerrymandered means it's a one sided issue.
