Everyone loved the movie, I thought it was goddawful, and I like pretty bad movies. I've now re-watched a lot of old British gameshows from the early 00s when he was far, far more prominent in Britain. He's extremely dirty. I know it's a fine line that some people can ride, but he said some pretty gross stuff and wrote it too (in Booky-Wook). When I'd see that book on the shelves I still thought of him as a bizarre attention-seeker that wasn't funny. He already did that before, but now he's streamlined things for media consumption means instead of just laying on his bed and pontificating.
