Ive seen the Japanese version in full and thats what I was referring to. In the American version all traces of any sort of crush between them are eliminated.

IDK the reality is that Araki's the kind of dude who changes his mind from chapter to chapter. Dude wrote a 110 month mystery graphic novel without a plan. I think he just introduced two new designs at the end of a chapter (Weather and Anasui), then as he was writing the next chapter decided he'd like Anasui better as a dude. I doubt he had the romance planned yet and based on how Jolyne speaks toward about and about Weather at various points, that ship mightve been his initial plan as well.

The first one that came to mind was Sora and Shiro from No Game, No Life. Siblings with an almost romantic relationship...

Wtf, that's horrible. The original author of Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi, said that she always saw their relationship as father/daughter. My desire to watch Yashahime dropped when I found out that Rumiko didn't do any of the writing. And hearing this just makes me want to watch it even less than before.

Maybe I am missing something here since I didn't watch a lot of that show. But didn't he just treat her like his kid? Kind of like how the good guys treated Shippy .

Spoilers: The MC has a kid with the one he lost his virginity to but marries the sister, so the one chick is the biological mother and also step aunt, and the other is the stepmother and both aunt and step aunt. Or some freaky shit like that.

Yeah just going by age difference Inuyasha and Kagome is not significantly better than Rin and Sesshomaru, but Inuyasha also didn't raise Kagome (even in a detached hands off way) >_>

In Cardcaptor Sakura, Sakura's brother dates a teacher while in middle school.
Then, said teacher starts dating a grade schooler because he's the reincarnation of someone else or something, idfk.

And Sakura's mom was one of her father's student's but I can't quite recall how old she was at the time.

If thou art a man, read Rosen Garten Saga. Honestly this is the craziest shit amongst all the ones mentioned here imo. Really teaches you what gender AND sex fluid really means lmfao.

One of its many characters had this relationship chain: He's a part of a bike gang, whose boss he admires as the manliest man. The boss turns into a hot girl, and the boss is used to trick him into getting stronger for the reward of getting to bang her. The trickery was done by a female AI, who's in love with him and knows how to coax him to do her bidding. Unfortunately she underestimates his lust and he cries into the arms of his boss, saying all he wanted to do was have sex with a hot woman. The boss agrees, and they bang, much to the chagrin of the AI.

It's wild stuff. Lots of sex bending but most people in the story are completely fine with it. There's also a manly man whose dick is so powerful that it's basically adamantium. He fights a 3 sword style akin to Zoro, except unlike that bozo, his 3rd sword is his dick and is the most powerful of his weapons.

Mirai Nikki is pretty messed up. A calm, collected shy main character dating a literal psychopath stalker.

For some reason, this reminds me of Lua and Ladd Russo from Baccano.

She's very shy and quiet. He's an actual psychopath who kills people for amusement. His way of telling her that he loves her is declaring "I'm going to kill you last," which she apparently finds deeply romantic. They really do love each other but man, it is fucking cracked.

Futaba-kun change is about a boy who has a hereditary condition has a sex-change every time he becomes sexually aroused. This means that the family has had a lot of incest in the past.

Then there's Midnight Panther. One girl in that, on becoming sexually aroused, turns into a man-eating panther (similar to the movie Cat People) - she eventually got in a long term relationship with a male panther. One of the other girls has become a master of using her body as a murder weapon and has killed every man she has slept with except one (I think he was her adopted father but I might be mistaken)
