Ive not seen him be upset or say anything about losing sponsors. He made a video laughing about how his rant went viral and mocking his detractors after it happened.

Imagine having your entire sense of escapism ruined because someone says "she".

Why would someone engage with a genre like science fiction if they take such issue with trans people? How is it unimmersive or "current day" for a trans person to exist in 300+ years when humanity becomes fully spacefaring? The genre tackles discussions on humans or sentience that doesn't conform to "normal" standards as its baseline and has longer than this guy has been alive.

I really think if something like Ghost in the Shell came out today people like this - who didn't bat an eye 30 years ago - would have unhinged meltdowns over it. They just don't seem like serious people.

I also think it says something that his version of immersion is one where... an entire minority group doesn't exist. Kind of fucking weird lmfao

There was another event where he said he was attracted to a trans woman, and when someone told him she was trans, he acted like it was the worst discovery of his life.

Assuming they haven't done anything illegal yet, and therefore don't go to prison, these dweebs desperately need to be confronted with the fact that their feelings are wrong and that they shouldn't have them. Like, in an institutional setting.

Was looking at Starfield mods on the Nexus, and found one that removed the pronoun choices. Went to click on it to see what comments were left and it was already under review for policy violation.

It's amazing how hard it is to these people to not be upset by the tiniest things.

Have we even confirmed if that woman is trans? If we're at a future where human cloning is viable, then all genetic engineering is. You could easily have genetic material to make a person and tweak it.

Why does Starfield even have humans and genders though? Shouldn't chuds be enraged? There are human men in the real world. Why would we want them in our escapist video games?

all videos like this end up doing is pushing people towards him inadvertantly. theres nothing really there to "react" to or deconstruct or anything else, its just an animate pile of sludge bellowing about how mad he is. he doesnt even try to make arguments or anything. just trying to go viral by throwing a tantrum and hopefully getting some subs from other mad people

Unless they become extinct, there will always be Humans and gender in media. No one was enraged at the Asari in Mass Effect. There was even a conversation where Liara tells Shepard that the concept of gender is irrelevant, and they only use the female pronoun because it makes it easier for simpler minds to process. Don't even get me started about gender in Dragon Age in regards to the Qunari.

And speaking of pronouns (PRO-NOUNS), that would become more common in the distant future. The character creation screen already introduces Aliens and gene splicing, so the outrage over pronouns in a space age game is laughable.
