Ive never played Armored Core before! Idk what Im doing! Juggernaut kicked my ass but I got him eventually! Its kinda weird you can replay missions to farm credits but I wont complain!

Anyway AC6 is rad but some of the boss fights are a crazy spike in difficulty

Like I'll cruise through a level annihilating everything in my path then get to the boss and eat shit for three days until I respec and come back with a weapon combo that makes the fight easier

Either works. I don't use the site myself, but if I'm sharing links from there, I use Twitter, mostly because I'm also sharing it on Discord, where I use FXTwitter / VXTwitter which works better for embeds over there. Direct links there don't work so well with buffering even tiny videos for some reason, but using one of those fixes the problem.

I've only played up to early chapter 2, but I've definitely found swapping out equipment based on what you're fighting is a necessity. Both times I got stuck at a boss, I changed my gear and then 1-2 shot it

I encountered a bug :V Chapter 1/Investigate BAWS Arsenal 2. One of the snipers GTFOd out of the arena and never came back, forcing me to restart

Finished Chapter 2, and have done the Arena through rank D.
So far my first impressions, as someone who has never played an Armored Core game before. and the only Fromsoft games Ive played are Dark Souls 1, 3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring, are that Im really enjoying the gameplay, flying around as a death machine is really fun. Random trash enemies are too easy though, but bosses and other ACs are a lot of fun to fight. Im kinda able to follow the story. Not really sure what Coral is though. The people that wanted this game to be Elden Ring but with mechs are crazy. The people that are complaining this is too much like Dark Souls are crazy. I am curious to play old AC games though see what theyre like.

So, yeah, Im having fun, I want to play more, I want to try more builds, Im actually glad this isnt Elden Ring with mechs.

Anyone got any recommendations for longer ps5 controller cables? The packed in cable just isnt doing it for me anymore.

It's just enough like Dark Souls imo. Most of the time it feels totally dissimilar, but then sometimes you fight an AC that goes Gwyn on your ass and you remember you're still playing a Fromsoft game. I think it's great how they have a unique flair that sticks out across genres.

Seen this happen on a livestream once, except it was a generic enemy during the first part of the mission you fight Balteus.

Add one more to the pile. Now Armored Core has TEN fans instead of 9.

r/ArmoredCore went from like 8k members three months ago to roughly 120k now. AC6 is legitimately very very popular. And hopefully it keeps up the trend of getting at least one sequel (or at minimum a large DLC).

I chose to take out the red guns. Because I dont like Michigan :D

Also I beat the Arena!

Some of the bosses got nerfed and some weapons got buffed in the next patch

Did people really think Balteus was so hard it needed to be nerfed? Its the only boss I fought so far that I beat on my first try.

He's the only likeable guy in the whole group though! Not that he ever does anything for you or anything. But he's the only non-confirmed asshole or bland personality in that group.

The opposite. r/ArmoredCore is flooded with whiny dipshits crying so hard about how the game is ruined now that Balteus' missiles track a little less. Its not even a significant change. Somehow people that are obsessed with showing off how good they are at AC with dumb achievements forgot that they're just better at the game than three weeks ago when nobody knew what they were doing and Balteus is actually not hard.

I was pretty stumped until I swapped my weapons around, then I oneshot it. Breaking the shield was really hard with what I was running. People whine way too hard about that fight both ways.

There was a patch effecting Balteus on the day you posted this.

Also twin Harris and twin Earshot wrecks the entire game.

I'm about, I think, halfway through Chapter 3 on NG+. I like how new missions and options opened up in NG+, and I thought I was done with the Arena, but I'm glad to see more challenges opened up. So far none have really been all that difficult though. I will standby what I said in that this is the easiest From game I've played, but that's not really a bad thing, the game is fun, just wish there were more viable combat options. I still don't understand the "It's too much like Dark Souls!!!1!!one!" crowd. This plays nothing like Dark Souls. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun going for the platinum trophy.

The mechanics from the AC games have, apparently, flipped around from AC1-3 being much slower and thick, and then 4 and 5 were completely different in terms of movement and design.

I got the Good ending! Just one more to go!

Got the true ending, and I have S ranks on every mission in chapters 1 and 2, most of them in 3, and a handful in 4 and 5. Still need to find some hidden parts though, but those and S ranks are all I need to get the platinum.

Only missing 3 S ranks Attack the Refueling Base. Destroy the Ice Worm. And Depth 1. Thats it, all Im missing for the platinum.

Think my PC could run this game if the graphics card is GTX 960?

Haven't been able to upgrade since I got it in 2017.

Might be able, idk.
