The downside being it's rare to get what you want in a group setting. Onions, mushrooms and olives are things I'm constantly missing out on cause of picky people.

Mushroom flavor is as bad as the texture

Why are you missing out on them? I cant understand in some cases, but cant you get your own food with those items on there, even if others dont like them. Personally, I dont like olive or onions, either. But I wouldnt try to stop others from enjoying it. The same way I wont stop other from enjoying things like shrimp or whatever That said, not sure if Id call someone not liking something picky. Picky is more than not liking a couple of things

It's hard to get olives put into tamales after they've been made...
As for pizza toppings, IDK, people are weird. People are very in their head about food.
So many people are picky about water but are liars! I serve filtered water and when the filter breaks and it's tap, people still think it's filtered.

Couldnt you order some tamales to have olives instead of ordering them all without olives?

And pizza will always be kind of weird. Many people are very specific with their pizzas. In most cases, if its for everybody, you usually get just basic toppings like Pepperoni or sausage. Maybe a Meat Lovers or Supreme, or cheese Though, its best to go to those places that give you smaller pizzas made to order like Mods Pizza or others like it That way, everybody can get exactly what they want That said, I dont see anything wrong with liking only certain toppings on their pizza I personally dont mind much as I can pull the other toppings off, especially on a slice that has barely any As long as it isnt those toppings that leak their flavor all over the slice Though, you can always order half and half pizzas. I know when Im with friend, one pizza isnt enough for big groups. So, we get a couple. Basically, half a pizza per person. So, we each choose toppings for half a pizza or something if we all want something different

And while you can taste differences in water, its not always big. And many dont notice. I just try not to drink water, anyway Most things taste much better Like Lemonade

When my friends would order pizza, we'd usually get two large pies - half plain, half pepperoni, half onions, and half sausage. Never had any issues or problems.

And that takes into account that one of our friends is actually allergic to onions.

Other way around for me. Can't really taste them (they have a flavor but it's not one that really stands out) but they offer some decent texture so I include them in dishes regardless.

They sell these at Costco and they're amazing!

Crunchy mushrooms. They're almost like chips, but shiitake!

I can't stand the texture of mushrooms, it literally makes me gag. Not actually sure how they taste tbh, its been a long time since I ate one and the texture is what stands out to me.

got some really yummy mushroom jerky at the local store a while back that i've never seen since. still makes me sad to think about. ;-;
