Does a kid really need 63k a month? How much of it is the mom pocketing? Jesus H.

To be fair, it's three kids, not one kid. Which it literally says in that article.

So it would technically be $21k per kid. And may be subject to change once they start hitting adulthood (one of them is going to be 18 in about 2 years). Though from that article the bulk of the money is going to the fact that she's unwilling to move them out of the rich neighborhood they've been growing up in, so it's a "living in the style to which they are accustomed" argument, where she doesn't want to start living closer to her actual means.

But the US court system has been horrifically biased against men in divorce, custody, alimony, and child support cases for a looong time now. And it tends to be even worse in California. So if anything he's lucky he managed to argue it down to $63k, when she was apparently asking for almost three times that.

My mom was collecting child support for me for like a year and a half even though I wasn't living with her during the time and only visited her once a week. All that money was basically just lining her pockets, I never saw a dime of it. Child support for the most part is arbitrary.

That would probably get your kid some good peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or spaghettios. Maybe even a grilled cheese if the mom felt like putting some extra effort in. Also your child has an upcoming school trip that i'm going to need you to pay half for in addition.

Kids won't get anything, the mom will just use it to get drugs and lure in random dudes to beat her and treat the kids like crap.

The settlement is ridiculous, but I don't feel bad for him. He should've known better.

Yeah there's a reason why she wanted more.

The kids are only getting 21k a month each? How are they supposed to live off of that

It's actually going to be $1k per kid and $60k for the mom who's going to black hole all that money for expensive trips, clothes, shoes, accessories, and whatever the fuck else she wants.
