To understand how to write politically you must first understand the meaning of one's true self and intentions, as the further we stray from the truth the close we edge to the abyss

Certainly not as well as Robert Kennedy spoke, off the cuff, in a very difficult situation.

just use bitwise operations and scan

on the left if you ever so far divided as to not center the politics the traditions that we maintain will fall into disrepair to the benefit of the ascendency of the right, which must be prevented at all costs.

I've been known to seduce political opponents with my curves, then while they're hypnotized by my beauty I pull down their pants in front of everyone.

I've read books with political overtones. I can't say that I gravitate toward it, but it is an almost inescapable part of entertainment media. When it comes to movies, I enjoyed watching stand-ins for Donald Trump and Elon Musk get eaten by dinosaurs in the Jurassic World movies.

In terms of writing politically, that's kind of a yes and no.

I have a sincere belief in equality and a desire to see less represented groups receive greater media focus. If I write a lesbian Latina, a Black male, and a trans White male as protagonists in three of my stories, that comes from a desire for greater inclusion. That's not there to spite the right, nor is it there to increase my standing with the left. People existing isn't political. It only becomes political when the other side politicizes hatred.

In terms of overtly political writing, I think I'd mostly stay away from that beyond having a minor villain be an effigy of Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis. It would be easier to write them as antagonists if they were entertaining people.

I will admit that I have kicked around the idea of doing The Howling, but with vampires. It'd be an allegory for how conservative hospitality can mask destructive ideologies.

You have the smiling, outwardly friendly individual who complains about how rude people have become, who misses the days when people were kind to one another and believed in their country, and who incidentally happens to drain the blood of people (mostly minorities) until they are dead. Then you have the individual whose motivation could be summed up as, "I'm not a vampire. I just guard their coffins during the day," as if that washed their hands of wrongdoing. And then you would have the individuals on the outskirts of town who have heard rumors about vampires, but don't place any stock in it. They're just concerned about the price of gas.

I think a story like that could be fun to write.
