With Freminet, is he an actual sibling to the twins? Lyney talks like it was just him and Lynette growing up. Or by sibling do they mean it in a "we're in the same cult spy orphanage" sense?

Anyone going to go for a phase 2 banner? I feel kind of bad skipping Tartaglia, since he's my favorite, but Fontaine feels off a sudden packed with "I want" characters for me.

I rarely ever go for cons unless I really like character, regardless of how strong they are metawise.

So far the only characters I purposely got cons for are Xiao and Eula

Not me. Never wanted Childe and Zhongli cons (and Childe cons for that matter) generally aren't very valuable. The only cons I want right now are Yae C2 and maybe Kokomi C1.

I like Freminet so I'm gonna try and get him but I'm limiting myself to 40 pulls. If I get him early, awesome, but if I don't get him I'll just move on and stop pulling.

Yeah in terms of cons, I'm thankful Childe's most useful one is C1, with the cooldown decrease. I manage his ability well but it's still nice to have.

I'm curious how Freminet will be.

Well, RNG said Fremi-nay to me. I did my 40 pulls, no Freminet. That's fine. I hope I can get him someday.

Asia/EU region people are so lucky in this. :( The banners change over at 5pm my time, in slightly over 8 hours.

This is the first time I ever remember seeing a limited five star demo with a standard five star as part of their demo lineup. Zhonglis demo includes Keqing!

Ha, the zhongli trial got me that 5 elemental bursts in 15 seconds achievement for primos.

Back to building my Yanfei a bit. She's really fun to play as, gonna make her a main dps.

Whenever I try to seriously build Yanfei I get a new character and end up building them instead lol

Okay, confession time. I promised myself not to pull after missing Freminet in 40 tries, but I couldn't resist... I just had to try one more time. So I just did individual wishes until I got a four star and... in 42 wishes, RNG gave me a Freminet!

His kit is... weird, but it's not terrible like I see a lot of people saying. I think most of the haters don't get his kit, which admittedly is hard to understand. But his gameplay is kind of interesting, and I think it's fun.

Even at C0, he can do surprisingly high damage for a 4 star physical attacker. He's actually really good as a hyperbloom driver. I think his mechanics might be designed to be especially good if he's on-field with Furina supplying off-field hydro.

Overload Yanfei with Raidens skill is hilariously fun. Air juggle your enemies to victory.

This is the core of my standard non-serious "I'mma just use my waifus" team. Add in Yelan for vape stuff and quicker traversal, and Layla for shielding.

Anyways, gonna keep saving. Will roll to pity for Wrio when he drops but won't chase if I lose the 50/50 because Furina/Navia/possibly Arlecchino are too important.

I liked Neuv in the story but not enough to jeopardize my Furina guarantee.

Neuv is my #1 most wanted in Fontaine so I'll be going all in on him.

If you want two of the three four stars, those are pretty good odds. Neuvillette is probably going to be a really strong unit, and we know that Hu Tao is one. So I'd say it's worth pulling.

I dont have much interest in Neuvilette, but if I got spooked with an early 5-star by Hu Tao or Dehya (both of which would be c1), it would hardly be the end of the world. Ill probably throw a few pulls and try my luck.

Phase 2 of 4.1 is claimed to be Wriothesley and Venti. 4* units are Thoma, Chongy, and Dori.

One day I'll be able to pull for Venti ;_; Prison warden takes priority for now.

What the everloving fuck kinda banner is that? Holy shit I hate every single one of those. My only hope is that I lose every four star 50/50 and win the five star.

Phase 1 is stacked while phase 2 is a wet fart aside from Mr Fister.

Yeah those 4* aren't the best lol... I love Dori as a character (JP VA goes hard) but she just sits there in my collection. I do use Chongy in my freeze team though so that'll be okay (watch me not get him at all).

4.1 stream finally confirmed for Friday. I'm looking forward to the trailer, I'm very much ready for more of the main story and world quest continuations.

Big oof, Yu-Peng Chen left Mihoyo to do his own thing. As a silver lining, I had no idea he hadn't touched Fontaine and I've loved the music there a lot. The music quality is likely in good hands but I'm still a bit nervous about the music for the next weekly boss. Those are biggies for me.

Apparently he's been doing less and less of the music since Inazuma, only making bangers here and there.

But I guess thar's more reassuring than worrying because I never noticed the music quality drop.

Yeah, I'm sure the music will still be great. Since Inazuma there have been lots of tracks by other composers (apparently most of the character demo songs since 2.0 weren't him and none of the Enkanomiya or Chasm tracks were his, for example). The only place I see having a noticeably significant drop in quality is the Harbinger themes, because those very much had Yu-Peng's personal stamp on them. I don't see the new ones reaching that level. But who knows? Maybe I'll still be pleasantly surprised. And anyway, even if it's not as amazing as before I'm sure it will still be great.
