The Killing of Satan

It's a bizarre Filipino action movie with an even more bizarre dub

Manila in the Claws of Light

edit: heh, thought I'd be the only one to bring up a movie from the Philippines lol

"Manila" is an interesting character study of a young man moving from a rural village to Manila as it was under the Marcos regime. It's a fairly bleak movie that was made with a lower budget (even for 1975) but I feel that it's nevertheless intriguing and worth a watch.

The Killing Box, aka Grey Knight, aka Ghost Brigade. I have only ever seen it once but I have never, ever, heard someone else mention it. I knew it as The Killing Box but apparently it has multiple names.

It's a Civil War zombie movie. It actually has a cast with some well known people, Martin Sheen, Billy Bob Thornton, David and Alexis Arquette. I remember it being kinda bad but reading about it on Wikipedia it seems like it more "okay."

Edit: Actually the Martin Sheen thing may have just been a cameo.

I don't know if this is obscure enough but Disorganized Crime is a favorite of mine. It's a late 80s ensemble heist movie with a cast of a bunch of recognizable actors. Corbin Bernsen, Ruben Blades, Fred Gwynne, Ed O'Neill, Lou Diamond Phillips, Daniel Roebuck and Hoyt Axton.

I've never heard anyone else mention this movie and only saw it on TV once when I stumbled across it very late one night.

I don't know if it was obscure when it came out, but Mom and Dad Save the World. Short version: A man and woman get kidnapped onto an alien planet full of idiots, where they have to over throw the ruler who wants to blow up Earth. Also, there are dog men and fish women. Starring Teri Garr, Jeffrey Jones and Jon Lovitz.

Also, Stepmonster. "No one, especially his father (Alan Thicke), believes a boy who says his future stepmother (Robin Riker) is a murdering monster."

It's a Japanese live-action baseball movie that me and my brother watched.

It features things like a poisonous baseball bat, a pitcher who can kill with his throws and other anime-like nonsense.

It's a mainstream movie, but I never hear it talked about. I've been a fan since I saw it the early 90's.

Night of the Generals: a murder mystery in the midst of Nazi Germany in WW2. The Cast is a who's who of 50's and 60's actors.

Jackie Chan's Fantasy Mission Force. One of Jackie's friends backed him on a contract dispute and used that to call in a couple favors to star in two of his films. This is one of them.

It's bad. Like... what if Kung Fu Hustle was played straight with references to other action heroes and ended with a bunch of white supremacists showing up in muscle cars, bad.

Coriolanus:
A (very) modern version of one of Shakespeares works. I like Ralph Fiennes and Gerard Butler, but I honestly couldnt finish this one. Excellent acting by Fiennes, though.

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus:
This is like Rankin and Basss version of The Hobbit and LotR mixed with a Christmas movie. Very unique story about the history of Santa Claus

I've seen an incredible amount of obscure movies. I was going to list and briefly summarize movies I've seen that have less than 1k votes on IMDb and/or less than 1k logs in Letterboxd but I ended up with over a dozen pages worth of notes. Apparently the most obscure movie I've seen is a Christian cartoon called the GodMan. It's not on Letterboxd and it only has 11 ratings on IMDb.
