Big band music goes soooo damn hard. Like, this tune is just pure stank-face music. Benny Goodman is classic. I told him I went to jazz school and he asked me about tons of artists I knew about. We worked at a lumber yard after it closed, he swept the floor, I stocked shelves. He'd bring in a boom box and pump these tapes that he'd made, some of them that his cousin in the GDR taped from radio in the mid 50s.
