It hasn't been a splendid novel, but at least the conflict ends in three and a half pages

^^^ this guy has a great channel discussing sci fi books. Hes done a few videos on Three Body Problem. Definitely worth a listen.

I liked the sci fi elements of TBP but never really cared for the characters. Not read the other books in the series yet but hear they are a lot more sci fi and less grounded.
