cjsdowg 08/25/23 11:40:11 PM #1:	Ever since Musk took over, that platform has been showing me terrible things. I see racism, Trump supporters, fights that are old videos, and today I saw a video of someone trying to kill a crab and missing its brain, so they cut it in half but it was still alive and suffering. And there is so much racism. I noticed that I went into A. Fib and couldnt get out of it. I stopped using the site for a while for other reasons and then I felt normal again. I dont know if there was a causal link. But I felt better overall. However, the site is like cake to a fat kid. I know it is bad for me, but telling off bigots gives me an endorphin rush. Not this is just my story, I am not suggesting that it this way for everyone. I just no, it hurts me when I want to get work done, school, work, or my writings. And just not good. And I think because I am talking with people I keep coming back. At work while I talk to people it just business. How can I help you today. This place is dying :( . So it like not many places to go. M-Watcher 08/26/23 6:04:23 PM #44:	I largely just pay attention to the people I follow so I don't really drift outside of that sphere and be exposed to the terrible stuff all that much. If I see it, I just block. Once the people I follow fully move over to another platform I'll move as well... though if it becomes Bluesky that becomes a problem because it's not like I know anyone that can get me a referral while it is in its perpetual early access state, lol.
