Wonder if DDP makes more money in one year off the fitness program than he entirely did in WCW.

A lot of people (specifically ex wrestlers) swear by it for rehabbing themselves.

Its a fitness, nutrition and mental wellness program

I restarted DDPY at the end of February with the Intermediate workout plan and am currently close to wrapping up the Advanced one.

Along with dieting and doing some sort of exercise daily I went from around 225 to currently 160. Best shape of my life thus far at age 34.

I do it almost every day, even if it's just one of the shorter ones to get a good stretch. Makes a huge difference with my scoliosis, sciatica, flat-foot, and everything else. Two or three times a year, I go through one of the actual programs.

I've always been interested in trying it, but just never have. I'll admit part of it is because DDP was probably my favorite WCW wrestler maybe after Sting. I did kind of think it might be just a gimmick, but hearing all these success stories over the years kinda tempts me.

I should look into it cause I've been hearing about it for years and I enjoyed yoga the few times I've done it. I will say everytime you see DDP in those reunion/legends things in a wrestling program, he looks incredible compared to all his broken down looking peers so that says something about his program.

Yes, it really works. I did the program for 4 months, I went from 270 down to 228. Mind you, you have to be strict, it isn't just a Yoga plan, its also a diet change. He advocates low to no dairy/grains, weighing protein portions, and he's huge into salads.

Gained all that weight back afterwards due to moving in with a roommate who knew how to cook and lack of space to exercise again, but that's beside the point lol.

To be honest, I didn't go past the beginner workouts of Energy and Fat Burner. They are actually on YouTube if you search hard enough. Newer versions at least.

and the best part is that you can work at your own pace. Each workout is around 25-30 minutes long. When I first started, I couldn't go past the 6 minute mark. I slowly made my way to the 11 minute mark, then the 20 minute mark. Eventually I was doing the workout twice a day, 4x a week. I overdid it, but it shows you progression.

The workouts are fairly basic and straightforward, just faster-paced yoga (not the slow, meditative type most people think of) and calisthenics set to a progressive rehab-like schedule. It gets pretty complicated but it can all be tweaked to personal limitations.

DDP's personality is a big part of it though imo. I don't know if the gimmick was from his real life influence or if it shaped who he was becoming but he's basically the motivational guru he was in 2002. It really helps with motivation, not just during the workout but to keep with it.

Sounds like something that could work for me. Yeah, DDP is just so likeable. Thinking back, I think there were elements of his motivational and positive ways even back in his WCW days with some of his promos. They just had that feel to them.

I didn't. It's just a basic heart monitor. As long as you have something like that, you'll be fine. It's just there to make sure you don't go overboard.

For sure. I don't like to assume anything about a celebrity I don't personally know but he seems like a good dude.

A FitBit will work. I did it with and without, both for long periods of time, and didn't really notice that much of a difference. You just need to know your personal cues and use common sense on when to take a break or dial it back. There are also designated rest points and modification notices that should be enough for most people. Things might be different if you have serious cardiac or other health issues though.
