Hes a terrible person. I am not aware of anyone saying he cant be good at trash games.

And LTG will NEVER make Master

The ranking system is way more casual in sf6. Not to say he didn't earn it, but I hit platinum in less than 100 matches in sf6 and couldn't get out of gold in sfv.

Also, DSP is very bad too. I just know more of the drama surrounding LTG, clearly

You gain more points for winning than you lose for losing, if you grind enough you'll eventually get there even with a less than 50% win rate.

That being said, fighting games are probably the only genre he has any proficiency in and he was a pro player in the past, the legacy skills are enough to carry someone in a new fighting game

People probably have him the wins because they knew he would uninstall

People who were Ultra Gold in SFV can get Master rank in SF6.

He gets rocked every time he's faced another master rank player.

I understand your point and the ranking system is easier to rank up in SF6, but surely theres been a lot of growth with you over these years.

The game he was a pro at was a busted version everyone else hated.

It seems there's a misconception about how he's bad at video games. When it comes to raw skill like dexterity or reflexes or whatever he's actually not really all that bad. The reason he's bad at video games is because he's profoundly stupid so he doesn't actually know what he's doing any of the time. Something where you can just build up muscle memory and sort of play by instinct he can be decent at. It's when he has to actually understand and process new instructions and conveyance that he's bafflingly abysmal.

Someone made that one video where he wasn't good at MGS2 and ever since then he is like one of those big whales/sharks where a hundred little krill things stick to its belly to feed off the detritus, cutting together every second of any of his gameplay where he complains

He's a fighting game player at his roots. He only went to content creation because he got kicked out of the FGC. I'm not surprised he made it to Masters, but that only makes my 2 Masters rank characters that much more meaningless.

Nope. I've actually gotten worse. I used to watch tons of matches and learn different matchups through osmosis, in addition to labbing and set play. Now I don't have the patience for it.

I don't care if he wins more than he loses, it's just funny that he cries like a moronic baby every time he doesn't win.

Also, after hitting master rank he reset his rank by getting the game for another console for no reason other than the smurf.

Sad part is I KNOW a person with an attitude and ego quite like his personally. I routinely whoop his ass in Smash, and it's always 'controller drift' or 'I was totally shielding' or 'I need free for alls. I gotta warm up'.

At least my friend can be quippy and funny sometimes. Never been entertained by a damn thing LTG does other than DA RAGE lol.

LTG wouldn't want to hit masters it means most of his viewers wouldn't get to play with him. He's trying to create content not become world champion.

Well, less than 1% of ranked players players have done it still.

He's actually decent at fighters. His problem is that he's prone to falling into a downward spiral when he makes a mistake then starts thinking it was everything else's fault except his.

He's legit dreadful at most other genres since he's too stupid to follow directions or apply common sense.

I knew a guy like that too.

You'd beat him 30 times in a row. And he finally wins 1 (because i was sandbagging (giving rounds, half rounds, weak but funny combos...) so hard to make things interesting for me) and he thinks he just proved his playing is superior, he downloaded me etc, then he quits playing.

Only the last match matters ... :p
