I dont have much time to play sadly but Ive been winning a lot with Purrely after finally learning the deck. Which took me a good while tbh Since they arent as easy to auto pilot. Had some issues bricking initially until I modded my deck a little.

The nice thing about Purrely is that you can potentially unbrick yourself too. Takes a smidge of luck but if you build the deck right you have a high chance of hitting of Purrely itself since its not once per turn. Which is absolutely bonkers

Just wondering since I caved and built Kash as well, what would you Imperm in this situation? I know so little about PunkI should fix that.

Ze Amin is always a safe choice.

Can also Imperm Fenrir, but the banish face down should be saved for the Ze Amin.

Ash the Rising Carp almost always a game ender.

The probability of an extender in a full PUNK package in a deck is too big to negate Ze Amin at any point tbh. Ash is better for Carp, Imperm is better for Sharakusai or Carp. PUNK board isn't that scary if they can't get Carp off.

It gets trickier if they started off with a Kash though. Imperming Carp affects him even if he tributes himself for cost as the effect is considered to resolve on field, so actually save Imperm for Carp as well. It's much better that they start with Kash, summon Sharakusai, let Sharakusai fuse into a Carp, then Imperm Carp. This prevents them from summoning a lvl 10 synchro. They can still get off a Kash play if they drew well or started Unicorn. If you have Ash and Imperm, it's good to Imperm Unicorn and then Ash the Carp effect. Only if you could be so lucky, but a Riseheart will still ruin your day (unless you have book of moon or a Kaiju or a Change of Heart)

I love Six Sams but seeing it in MD is miserable

Got to 17 with pure PUNK (feat 2 Fenrir).

Had to get to 19 at least for the gems.

1 Riseheart 2 Fenrir 3 Unicorn with Theosis and Birth is working out really well for me in my current PUNK build. It IS possible to ruin the PUNK path of it cuz you have to start cutting Sharakusai and Deer Note to 1, etc. And you also have to be careful of running into being limited to Xyz. But it's great cuz sometimes you can just start Unicorn and do an entire Kashtira line instead, and they always use Ash and Imperm on Unicorn, which is terrific for your PUNKs

You do it only if you really desperately want the gems. There's no glory unless you no-life it. I refuse to believe anybody with a job (at least one that doesn't let you play MD mid job lul) has enough time to get even 10k points, let alone a ranking good enough to get a title

There is nothing funnier in this game for me than watching an opponent immediately shotgun Maxx C in the draw phase, then watching them immediately surrender after they see me normal summon Robina.

Anyways, I accomplished my usual goal of DLv16 in the Duelist Cup on both of my accounts, using Floowandereeze on my main account and Labrynth on my side account. Sadly, I didn't pull anything good with the free DC packs, but whatever.

I've just been doing 2-3 games a day, only got to DL 13, went about 12-4 or so, even against actual meta decks, lost 70% coin toss, not that it matters since the deck does have go 2nd plays, but still

Limited Kash doesn't mess with the opp deck enough imo. Most of the times you only really get Unicorn effect long after you've already won. Ariseheart pass with a single book of moon can sometimes be scary and enough for a lot of decks.

Putting more Kash than I did in my Kash PUNK is too much imo. It's already not that consistent. The board power level varies so much that sometimes I'm nervous to go first lul. Other times it commits unoutable board crimes

Feel like Dangerous Gabu is much better search than Nashiwari Surprise; Gabu is always active while Nashiwari needs a PUNK to target a face up.

And feeling like cutting up the Joruri-PUNK cards overall for more hand traps, but then if you didn't hard draw Extreme Session you only have 1 chance to draw off its effect.

Im so close to DC Max Level. Its just been rough getting the momentum at that level. Going to try again tomorrow. Maybe I have to switch off of Kash? I hate that I like playing it so much. I find it really fun though. I have Purrely too.

I need to get back to Diamond. My deck is way overtuned for Gold right now.

But then again Ive ran into like 3-4 people playing Dark Magician in high level DC. Its wild these days.

1 Big Eye, 1 Kshatri, 1 Ariseheart, 1 Zeus is more than enough. Kash shines at the grind game. I don't think you need to put in Wraithsoth. It's hard to manage the 2 field spells, and PUNK field is better to have cuz you gain a lot from the 2-3 draws in the 2 turns.

Also yes, you don't always end on PUNK. Def go for Gabu

The rank up match was against Dragon Link and I got reminded that PUNK has no way to out a Borrelend, so I was prepared to leave Borrelend alone and use Nashiwari Surprise next turn.
That is, until Extreme Session gave me Droplet off the draw 1.

I just cant crack Max level

I have good decks and good set ups but my opponent always has the ash or breaker card magically. I can get one win then 1-2 loses. Repeat.

I'm posting in this topic for the first time because I deserve some recognition for this stroke of genius.

I built a deck that uses the Chaos Ruler -> Zombie Vampire P.U.N.K. combo for mills to facilitate a small amount of Witchcrafter stuff. Then I rounded it out with some Kashtira, as one does in the current format.

I call it PUNKash Witch~

(No, I don't think it works, but I haven't even used it yet. I built the deck just so I could make that joke~)

As long as Chaos Ruler is still in the game, PUNKs will always be a viable mill solution for graveyard decks. I don't think anybody thought to use it on Witchcrafters but I don't see why it wouldn't work

Upon looking things up and else, Mokey Mokey is sadly hot doo-doo. Lvl 1 support is too archetype centric or hard draw or die. Personally I think One for One can come to 3, but I know why it's there

The main thing making me feel like this is just a meme is that I need some very specific draws/mills to use both the P.U.N.K. stuff and the Witchcrafter stuff in the same turn. If I don't open with E-Teleport or Unveiling and Schmietta, I have to choose which set to use my normal summon on. I could hope to mill Madame Verre or Schmietta with Holiday in hand, but that's kind of a long shot. And of course, whatever the case, it hinges on opening with at least two specific cards out of my deck. And none of this is even getting into what I may or may not be able to do with Kash plays.

I'm gonna try it out today anyway, see if it actually does anything, but I'm not getting my hopes up. It just made me giggle that I could call it "PUNKash Witch"~

Another copy of Black Metal Dragon, the true one card combo for Dragon Link is very nice.

Extrav is ok to exist and Prosp can't. I dunno how much limiting Extrav outright does for the economy, but it was almost always used in no ED reliant decks, or at least ones that can run 3 of of all of their boss mons. Hopefully this isn't a sign they're not limiting or banning Ariseheart

Im seeing people say the Extrav hit is for Lab decks. That seems a bit thin though.

Maybe they'll take the OCG route and hit the main deck cards (Fenrir is banned in the OCG and Unicorn is limited along with the field spell, but Arise-Heart was never hit) instead of just banning Arise-Heart like the TCG did.
